Million Word Challenge!
Funded Oct 9, 2015Thank you so much for the generous donation to support my students to help them reach their One Million Word challenge!! Reading books is the only way to get better at reading, therefore, having a plethora of books that interest them help their engagement and eagerness to read!
We use these books everyday, they are checked out of the library and returned for all the students to share the new books and titles. Also, they have homework to read every day and this supplies them with books to choose from so that they can always be reading and getting stronger!
For example, Abigail didn't enjoy reading when she started the school year. However, since she learned about the Percy Jackson series, she has read almost every book and will be starting on the Harry Potter series as soon as she finishes them! As a result, she has grown over 8 months in her reading level, making her a stronger student with a brighter future.
Thank you for putting these books into my students' hands!!”

From Flash Drives to Reading Drives
Funded Oct 28, 2014Thank you for your generosity in giving to my class! The students were both shocked and thrilled at the opportunity to have their own book and flash drive in class. They use them every day, both at school and at home, for projects, papers, and reading assignments. This gives them the chance to hold more responsibility with their work and continue to improve because they have their own materials to work with. Thank you so much for investing in their bright futures with these technological and literary tools!”

Paper for Purposeful Progress of Pupils
Funded Aug 24, 2014Thank you so much for your generous donation to the students! The students love the color paper in class and have been immensely grateful for their own copies of assignments. The hand sanitizer and tissues have kept the classroom clean and ready for the students each, keeping the students healthy and able to attend class more often! Thank you so much for being a huge part of a successful year and contributing to their bright futures. Everyday we are thankful for the supplies as we always use them to the greatest degree!”
