• Better Lighting for Kindergarten Bathroom No More Scary Fan

• Kindergarten Needs a Printer for Writer's Workshop

  Funded Dec 4, 2024

  Our Writers Workshop is in full effect! I am so proud to share what we have created so far with the help of the printer. My students have created their folders, illustration unit notebooks and their picture dictionaries. They are on a roll, creating so many different stories.

  We are currently getting ready to start our pattern books and will print them out for our parents to see and read at open house. We are excited to show how much we have grown this school year. We have used so many forms of media to support our writing.

  I am so grateful to have the resources needed to keep my students excited as they navigate through their experience as writers of this world.”

• Kindergarten Needs Basics to Start

  Thank you for donating to this project. My students were very happy to get their new boxes which have everything they need inside of them. They have their crayons, pencils, QR codes, name plates, etc. This box has helped them get organized as well as have more desk space. We have a very full class and having more desk space is very important as a lot of the activities we do are at our desks due to space. Thank you for helping us have a better learning environment with better organization and more space.”

• Kindergarten Needs Tpt Please

  Thank you for your donation to this project. The access to TPT has been incredibly helpful while navigating a new reading program and understanding my students' needs. I was able to not only get visuals for my students to better understand the curriculum but I was able to get paper practice for them in the skills they are learning. This additional practice has definitely been beneficial to them as they complete their morning work and homework at home. The access to TPT has also been very helpful in providing my students' families the unit overviews in Spanish which is very helpful to my only Spanish speaking families. • Help Kindergarten Word Chain

  Funded May 13, 2024

  The chaining boards have been very successful so far. My students are loving the ability to use dry erase markers and their boards as we blend sounds together. The more skills they acquire the more they will be able to write and use the boards. I am looking forward to them using the magnetic letters with me once we start small groups next week. There, they will manipulate the magnetic letters along with the sounds and then write the words they have created. This project will be one that grows along with my students throughout the year. I am excited to see them grow into proficient readers this year. Thank you for making this possible through your generosity and support.”

• Kindergarten Needs a Clean and Dust Free Environment

  Funded May 8, 2024

  The vacuum was and continues to be a success! My parent volunteer along with my students, and I were so excited when we received the vacuum. We knew we were not going to have to wait three whole days every week for our room to be vacuumed. We immediately unwrapped the vacuum and used it on our new carpet that would get dusty and dirty very quickly. The play doh, dust, and other daily debris was gone!

  We will continue to use this vacuum on a daily basis as it allows for smooth instruction to take place. The dirt and dust were a constant interruption as my little students would stop the lessons to point out what they found on the floor. These interruptions were gone after we received the vacuum so THANK YOU!”
