The children that I teach come from an extremely low-income area. Almost all are on a free or reduced lunch program. The parents are grateful for what we do for their children, but they do not have the ability to assist financially. I buy what I can, but as their teacher I want to be able to do more. I want to be able to give them the resources needed to excel in school because they deserve them. All children are entitled to the same caliber of education, no matter where they were born or what conditions they were born into. Please help me to make my dreams for my students a reality!
