  • Magna-Tiles to Build and Explore!

    Funded Apr 15, 2022

Thank you for your generous donations! My students will have a great time exploring and learning with these Magna-Tiles. Every student deserves to have the tools to ensure their success and our students are well on their way because of your kindness. Every time they have access to these manipulatives, their minds will grow with the challenge.”

  • Learning Through Music And Movement!

    Funded Feb 1, 2012

I am sincerely grateful for your generous contribution to our class project. Thanks to your gift we were able to receive an ipod and an ipod dock and speaker. My students have benefited from the ipod and ipod speaker greatly. We use them everyday to play music to introduce concepts during the morning calendar math routine. We also use them to help students to learn letter names, letter sounds, and colors and shapes. The ipod and ipod dock even helped us prepare a dance we performed for our cultural program in front of the whole school.

Our school has had deep budget cuts and our students would never be exposed to this type of technology without the generosity of people like you. My students are English Language Learners and benefit tremendously from Oral Language activities. With the ipod and ipod dock we can transition from one song or dance to another easily and can accomplish more during the day. This will help them be more successful academically.

Thank you! Without donors like you thousands of classrooms in disadvantaged neighborhoods in the United States would not have access to the same type of technology as their peers.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Cervantes
