  • Building Math Confidence with Adaptive Supplies

    Thank you! Thank you so much for adaptive school supplies! Students are challenged in academics they don’t need traditional scissors to add to frustration. Traditional colored pencils also add frustration when mistakes are made abd they can’t erase it. Adaptive loop scissors, erasable colored pencils, erasable highlighter, and adaptive pencils meet the fine motor skills of students eliminate melt downs and increases student success! Thank you”

  • Play, Practice, Problem Solve Repeat

    Thank you so much for your love and generosity to my students. Thank you for resources they can use and reuse for play based learning.

    Students will continue to explore arrays, spelling, and angles with play-doh and WikkiStix. Magnetic blocks, fractions, and balances all help students to practice, learn, and apply math skills and relate these concepts to STEM.

    My students really like to play "Sum Swamp", "Dino Place" and "Snakes and Ladder". Students use Snakes and Ladders to solve for x. My marker is at 72 I had to go down to 16 how many spaces did I have to back. Students play these games over and over and are learning so much about social slills and math concepts.”

  • Every Page, Every Voice, Every Story This Changes Every Perspective

    Thank you! Thank you so much for chapter books and picture books to teach students empathy, character, and challenge their own perspectives in life. Students really liked the book "Do You Have a Brain?". Asa teacher the time line, geography, and vocabulary was rich in content and met so many standards. The students were engaged in rich discussions of family relationships, dreams, distractions from dreams, and ways to overcome obstacles in life. Students loved the characters and the overall story line.

    A favorite picture book you gave us, "The Girl who Thought in Picture" really opened the eyes to my students that we do not all see things the same way. They display empathy and some really related to the book. I appreciate your love and generosity to my class! I look forward to reading more pages and more books. Thank you”

Your generosity to my classroom provides my students with STEM projects that builds curiosity, social skills, and allows students to explore with material independently.

    Exploring with measurements and life cycles using stuff animals was a huge success. Students also created their own to measure speed, force, and Newton Law of Motion.

Our vision impaired therapist recommends yellow sand in the sensory table to reinforce academic vocabulary in a social setting. Letter titles and letter manipulative reinforce common strokes in writing and allows nonverbal students to communicate phonics skills. Letter titles can be used to teach the spelling of 'wow' or allowing students to use tiles to spell 'thank you for your generosity.
