Some of the standards my students have to learn this year involve life cycles of butterflies and plants. Rather than just making models on paper, I really want to make the learning more engaging and real for them...and what better way to do that, than to watch caterpillars turn into butterflies, and to grow their own plants! By providing these materials, my students will get an authentic, real-life learning experience that they will never forget! They are projects that they will talk to their families at the dinner table about. They will be busy measuring, observing, and most importantly, learning. Thank you so much for your consideration!
