The transitions we have had back and forth to online learning and then coming back to school has been a very stressful time for our students. Students are now required to wear masks during the day at school and increase sanitation procedures and social distancing at school, which has increased their stress while trying to learn new academic material. Many of my students also have special needs that made that increase the anxiety they are feeling at this time. These items would help to provide a mindful, safe space where we can practice skills that can help my students learn to manage stress, both in the classroom and continue into their outside lives.

About my class
