  • Materials for Play and Learning

    Funded Oct 20, 2024

Thank you so much for your support and for helping my students develop a love for their classroom. Our organization has much improved and our play time has been so fun.

It has been incredibly helpful to have the clipboards organized and our table organization has been great. We have been using the clear boxes to store pencils and our students earn table points when their table is organized.

The dollhouse has new dolls and has enough dolls for everyone to play with, so there is no more arguing over the two dolls we previously had.

Thank you so much for supporting our classroom.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Quesada

  • Back to Basics

    Funded Aug 12, 2024

Thank you so much for your generous donation. The school year is off to a great start!

I was able to set the classroom help with the help of the supplies from the project. We have been using the line up dots and practicing so much, now the kids line up so quietly! The dots have really been helping them learn space and find the right spot.

The clipboard organizers have helped so much by opening up space. The ducks and other materials have been so engaging for the students, and they are all really excited to be in school.

Thanks again for your generous donation!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Quesada

  • Organized in First Grade

    Funded Mar 18, 2024

Thanks you so much for your generous donations and for helping make our classroom a more organized and calm space. The mesh bags have been amazing for organization and have made it so easy to just grab the toy/morning tub we want and to take it out. They have really cleared up the space in my cabinets.

The magnetic blocks have been a huge hit! I've sent the link out to families because I had so many students requesting that their parents know about the blocks.

The slide changers has also been very very helpful. I used to have to walk around my carpet filled with students just to change slides and it has reduced transition time to just click through. Thank you again!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Quesada

  • Calming Sensory Tools

    Funded Nov 28, 2023

Thank you so much for your donations to help our classroom. The students were so excited about the new resources and tools and they have been using them every day. We are so grateful for the noise cancelling headphones, new calm corner fidgets, and sensory strips.

The noise cancelling headphones have been a class favorite. I put out a bucket with the headphones for students to use during independent work time, or when they feel overstimulated. Students will grab the headphones and then put them back and they are used so often. It is one of our favorite parts of the classroom.

Thank you so much for supporting us and helping create a classroom for kiddos with a variety of sensory needs.”

  • Sensory Tools for Sensational Students

    Funded Sep 16, 2023

Thank you so much for support our exceptional students! We are loving the new resources. Every day when the students come in, they pick their seat and take it to the table. The wave seats and the foam cushions are class favorites and are all of those seats are used every day. Students have reported that they like how comfortable they are and how they can wiggle and move their bodies.

We are also very appreciative of the drawer system and fidgets. The white drawer system has been a big help in getting me organized. The fidgets are being used constantly to help students on the carpet.

Thank you again for your generosity.”

  • New School Year New Materials

    Funded Aug 7, 2023

Thank you so much for providing us the materials and tools to get the school year started. I was able to set up for the beginning of year with sturdy materials to hang things, durable erasers and many things that I would usually need to spend my own money on.

Our classroom is thriving thanks to how prepared I was setting it up. The students have a few new STEM toys and classroom decorations that reflect who they are. It was such a great feeling to be able to have everything I needed for the start of the year and our class is forever grateful.”

  • Science of Reading Library

    Funded May 9, 2023

Thank you so much for supporting our students with new decodable texts. The students were so excited to open up the new books and start reading! Some of my students who are reading above benchmark were especially excited to have reading material that challenged them slightly, and all students were very engaged.

The decodable texts and materials in this project have helped my students so much because the materials connect so well to the classroom curriculum as well as science. I have recommended these decodables to every teacher who has asked about them!

Thank you again for making such a big impact on our students”

  • Reading Rockets

    Funded Apr 2, 2023

Thank you so much for your generous donation. The students have been loving all of the new materials.

The new toys for our morning tubs have been fantastic. The students are creating new inventions such as lawnmowers, chains that reach the ceiling and are making people that can walk. It's been so fun for us to watch the students so engaged at creating things.

The whisper phones have been a fantastic tool for students during small reading group. They ask every day if they'll be able to use the phones to read. It's really created a love for reading.

    Thank you so much again!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Quesada

  • Flexible Seating for Fantastic Learning

    Funded Dec 15, 2022

This project has made an incredible impact on my students. They are learning and growing so much thanks to our new seating. I have 5 tables set up with the cushions, stools, wobble stools, wiggle cushions and chairs. Students first rotated through each table twice to see how their body liked it. Now, students are picking their own seat in the morning.

When students come in the morning, I ask them how their body is feeling and help them make a smart seat choice. We have talked a lot about what a successful seat means and my students are starting to make those decisions. I had a student come up to me and say "yesterday I don't think I was successful sitting next to ____, today I want to move so I can be successful".

The students love the project and I do as well. We can't thank you enough for the donation.”

  • Project Exploration!

    Funded Nov 29, 2022

The students were SO excited to receive the materials! They screamed when they saw the dollhouse. We are having an absolute blast using everything!

The dollhouse and suction cup toys are a hit. Students are using these materials in free choice and are able to increase their collaboration. Students are using the STEM bin toy during our morning tub time every day. Morning tub time is so important to allow kids to have a slow start to our day.

The clipboards have been so helpful to help our reading rotations. Students can use the clipboards to complete independent work on the carpet or to go around the room and write the words they see.

Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts, we really appreciate you.”

The Phonics Skill Building Book Sets will make a difference in my student's learning by providing books targeted to increase my students phonological awareness and reading fluency. Many of my first graders began the school year with emerging fluency and have grown leaps and bounds. I am incredibly proud of their progress. My students are yearning for more books and I am overjoyed that they have found a love for reading. However, as a first year teacher, providing the resources has been challenging. Please help me give my students these book sets so that they have the tools to continue their newfound love for reading.
