I teach in Fort Worth ISD. My students are amazing and deserve the best. 97% of the students from my school are from an economically disadvantaged family (Title 1 school). My students come to school sometimes to get away from their home life. They come to school to better their lives, and I want to give them the best, because to me, just showing up was a hard decision they had to make that day. I’m needing items to supply my classroom that will make them feel safe at school. And I hope this brings them to love reading and become comfortable with reading. I’m needing bean bag chairs, rugs, crates, and odds and ends to supply my classroom this year. I like to keep my treasure box stocked, snacks on hand and extra goodies for special circumstances. I’d greatly appreciate your donation. We would be thankful for anything provided this coming year.
