• Books for Art!

  Thank you for funding my project "Books for Art!". Your donations have brought a number of new books into the art room. Students have loved looking at the books for inspiration, ideas and just because they love to read! I am also excited to introduce new projects to my students from the clay and fiber arts books included in the project. As an art educator I am always looking for new projects to add to our project rotations. The new clay and fiber resource books are some much needed inspiration for me!

• Paper to Create!

  Thank you for your donating to my project and getting my classroom some much needed teacher supplies and art supplies for my classes! Students have been using the paper to paint portraits, monsters, abstract paintings and schools. With your donations, my students and I have been able to begin the school year creating artwork on day one!

• Smooth Tables and Bottle Top Murals

  Thank you for donating to my project and supporting all of my art students! We have just finished the first week of school and our smooth tables have allowed my student to create artwork without any impressions from the tables. We also started planning creative ways that we can make our bottle top murals this coming year. Your donations have helped to create the classroom environment that all of my students deserve.

  Thank you for donating to my project "Refresh the Art Room". This summer and the beginning of next school year I will be able to restore the art room tables. I appreciate your donations to this projects. With your donations, my students will have tables that do not have deep cuts and carvings from decades of use. I want students to continue to create art in a clean and well taken care of environment for years to come.

• Materials for Everyone!

  This year has been an interesting year to be a teacher. I have learned to create lessons online and teach students through distance learning tools. Your donations have helped make this school year easier and provided much needed materials for students at home and in the school building.

  With your donations, over 700 students received bags of basic materials to get them started this school year. Every student, if they were distance learners or face to face, started the school year off with brand new materials. This semester I have seen students both online and face to face use the materials you provided for them to create works of art.

  Thank you for supporting the visual arts. With your support, my students will come back to an art room that is fully stocked and ready for creation. We will be able to resume our study of sculpture and creating 3-D when they return to my room. Your donations make it possible for students to create and explore sculpture, without strict material restrictions due to budget constraints. Your donations will impact over 700 Kindergarten through 5th grade students.

  Thank you so much for giving to my project "The Art of Reading!". With your donations, students in all of my Kindergarten through 5th grade classes have access to new how to draw books and biographies about art!

  My students love to draw and explore art, and because of your generous donations hundreds of students will have access to these books for years to come. The books will be a cherished part of both art libraries. Reading is essential is every classroom, and your donations help support functional literacy in the classroom.

• Crazy for Clay!

  Thank you so much for bringing air dry clay and Play-Doh to my primary school students! Students have been molding, pinching, and building with their new materials and love the hands on experience building! Students will be creating small projects with the air dry clay in the next couple of weeks, and they Play-Doh has been a great way to teach students some basic clay techniques.

  Thank you for supporting our project "Clean and Ready!". With your support, students at both of my schools can help to keep rooms clean and ready for the next class. The materials that you have donated have given our cleaning materials a home, and make it easy for student to find cleaning supplies. When materials are easy to find, student can be self sufficient. Your donations will also be very helpful as we more closer to flu season. Students use the wipes to clean tables and materials so we can keep the rooms clean, ready and healthy.
