    Thank you for funding my project "Books for Art!". Your donations have brought a number of new books into the art room. Students have loved looking at the books for inspiration, ideas and just because they love to read! I am also excited to introduce new projects to my students from the clay and fiber arts books included in the project. As an art educator I am always looking for new projects to add to our project rotations. The new clay and fiber resource books are some much needed inspiration for me!

    This year has been an interesting year to be a teacher. I have learned to create lessons online and teach students through distance learning tools. Your donations have helped make this school year easier and provided much needed materials for students at home and in the school building.

    With your donations, over 700 students received bags of basic materials to get them started this school year. Every student, if they were distance learners or face to face, started the school year off with brand new materials. This semester I have seen students both online and face to face use the materials you provided for them to create works of art.

We will be able to resume our study of sculpture and creating 3-D when they return to my room.     Thank you so much for bringing air dry clay and Play-Doh to my primary school students! Students have been molding, pinching, and building with their new materials and love the hands on experience building! Students will be creating small projects with the air dry clay in the next couple of weeks, and they Play-Doh has been a great way to teach students some basic clay techniques.

The materials that you have donated have given our cleaning materials a home, and make it easy for student to find cleaning supplies. When materials are easy to find, student can be self sufficient. Your donations will also be very helpful as we more closer to flu season. Students use the wipes to clean tables and materials so we can keep the rooms clean, ready and healthy.
