Giving So That We May Read "The Giver"

The students in my classroom were so touched and grateful for your donation of a class set of books of "The Giver" and "Gathering Blue." Our school does not have ample library books and much less class sets of meaningful books that the children can enjoy at school and at home. We read 3-5 chapters a week. They write down any unknown words in their reading journal. The also write a daily summary of what they read and jot down all of the pages they read. They love the book. The main character in the book is exactly the same age as the majority of my children. Thank you so very much again. Your kindness is appreciated.”
