• Holidays Are Around the Corner!

  Thanks to your kind donation, my students were so happy to receive their Holiday bags with all their presents inside. We had a potluck and played some games. My students were so excited when they opened their bags and saw all the surprises I had for them. Many of my students come from low income families and the fact that I was able to give them something special meant so much to me. Thank you so much for making sure they received their gifts. I included in their bags other things I bought them but without your help I wouldn't have been able to get them so many things!”

• Paper Paper; We Need Copy Paper

  Thanks to your donation of paper I have been able to print many resources. Usually we print out the weekly homework as well as many activities for our classroom. Since I teach in a dual language school, we usually lack Spanish materials but thanks to your donation, I have been able to make Spanish Packages with the paper I received. I also donated two boxes of paper to the administration/main office so that they can use it as well. Thank you so much for making dura that our students have what their need.”

• Laminating and Sharpening our Learning

  Thank you so much for your donation! The laminated educational materials and the dry erase markers are allowing the students to easily wipe off and sterilize their lesson materials in a safe manner. Also, I have been been able to create laminated flash cards and equip each student with dry erase markers to augment individual learning by improving their reading, math, and writing skills independently.

  With my diverse special needs population, having a laminator have immensely enhance and greatly improve each student's educational experience.”

• Planners Make Learning More Fun And Organized

  Thank you so much for funding my protect! Although I was excited to receive the planners they were out of stuck when the project was funded. However, I was able to get other materials that are being very helpful in my classroom, such as cushions for my students to feel comfortable when they are reading! My students are enjoying independent reading even more than before! Also I was able to get markers, which are always used daily in my classroom. Thank you again for your kindness and donation. • Promoting Social and Emotional Development for All Students Part 2

  During this particular time in education, everything we do in school is technology-driven. Because our students use headphones almost daily, some of them have gotten damaged and are no longer able to be used. Our students need headphones for online assessments. Also, last year we received headphones but we gave them to the students at the end of the year.

  Thank you for helping us reach the goal of having working headphones for these assessments.

• Homework Folders Means Better Parent Communication

  Parent communication is important for a student's success in school.

  Homework folders are a way to communicate with families each day.

  Parents can find homework, notes, reminders, grades, important notices from school, etc. all in one place. These folders are made out of sturdy, wipeable material that will withstand daily use. I'm also asking for labels to print headings for their folders. Also, sheet protectors will be placed inside the folders.

• A Fresher and Cleaner Environment

  Thank you so much for helping me give my students a fresh and clean environment daily by donating these valuable Lysol & Clorox disinfecting products to our special education classroom.

  Lysol & Clorox products have kept my students and teachers safe thus far.

  It is an imperative part of the day for the classroom to be cleaned thoroughly.

  I am always in need of supplies to keep our classroom clean and my little ones protected.

  My students learn that such a clean environment at school should also be transferred to any other environments they are in. "We clean up behind ourselves" because its the right thing to do and keeps us safe from germs.”

• Materials for Our Students

  Thanks yo your donations each of my student have their own pencil case. They use this every day during all subjects. This also keeps our classroom very organized. Providing these materials for my students has help me take a lot of the stress that having to purchase these materials for their children presses down on our families.

  Something important about keeping these materials ready to go is that they don't stop in the middle of the lesson looking for a sharpened pencil or scissors or glue. They have everything accesible to them.”

• A Gift for the Holidays

  Although I couldn't use the gifts for the holidays because they arrived after our holiday party, I saved them for the end of the year party and these were a success! I packed their gifts in the colorful string bags, placed them by the window and handed to them at the end our "End of the Year Beach Party!" I couldn't have done this without your donation! I will never forget their smiles when they received their gift bags and they saw all the surprises inside! Thank you so much for your gifts to my students!”

• Keyboards For Our iPads

  Funded Feb 10, 2022

  The keyboards were so helpful to my students! Students were able to use them to type their work. Students were feeling more confident when typing on their keyboards and therefore produced better writing pieces. They also used these when doing their informative writing since a lot of researching on the web is involved. I can't wait for my future students to also use them since they are a really great tool. Typing on the screen can be challenging, overwhelming and it takes a lot of time. Thank you again!”
