Help me give my students snacks throughout the day. Our school is a a low income area and many students come to school to eat breakfast and lunch. I have been getting snacks for them out of pocket.
Everyone knows how difficult it was to navigate COVID-19. Imagine in schools where we already face challenges and you add covid to this equation.
Your generous donation help me as a teacher use technology to teach online and also protect the students to opted to be in the classroom.
Because of donors like you, we are able to provide essential supplies to our classrooms. This makes so much difference in the students' lives. Thank you for being a champion for education. Specially in times like Covid where everything was change on us and we needed to adapt to provide the best education to our students.”
Thank you so much for donating to cover the cost of the class set of La Casa en Mango Street. This will allow every student in my class to have a copy to use while we read the book and work on our project.
Thank you for believing in public education”

Your generous donation helped both my student and me stayed safe during covid. We returned to the classroom during a very scary time period with a full pandemic happening. My main goal was to keep everyone safe and the items you provided us with your donations helped us achieved that goal.
They were very happy to see the extra masks, hand sanitizer and the touch-less hand sanitizer dispenser. As teachers, everyone knows that we spend a lot of money out of pocked and during this time I was ready to purchase anything necessary to protect both my students and myself. But thank you to your donation, we were able to covered the essentials to keep everyone health and safe.”

Thank you so much for providing the materials for this project. This meant so much to our students as they are so conscientious about the environment and love to teach others about ways to protect it. The tote bags were not just a way for the students to protect the environment but also a way to express their ideas through art.
I am a big believer that in any subject we can incorporate art as a way for students to express what they have learned or in this case to express their support to a cause they care deeply about.
They absolutely loved the bags and kept coming back to make more even after the day of the project ended.”
The students have enjoyed this short stories book not just for their wonderful stories but also because is easy to read in the target language. The stories provide challenge to student when reading in Spanish but also are so enjoyable to read and leave the students with a sense of accomplishment when reading them.
The project that goes along with the reading of the stories gives the students the opportunity to reflect on what they have learned and also express their ideas through art. This is something that we are losing more and more in our schools, the use of arts as a way for students to express their ideas. So we thank you for providing these books and the opportunity for the students to practice their language skills and express their thoughts through art.”

This project was so meaningful for the students as they were able to express their ideas about peace through arts. They left their marked in a piece of fabric that was put together as a quilt. One of the quilts was donated to a local nonprofit that focused on peace and the other one stayed at school.
It is so important for our youth to be able to express their ideas and thoughts in different ways that involves not just the traditional writing of an essay but also the arts. Some of the students were able to learn how to put together a quilt, which is something they have never seen before.”

Thank you so much for your generous donation. These items will help us start the school year on the right track and will provide the students with options when it comes to seating arrangement in the classroom. I know the students will be really happy to receive these items for our classroom.”

Thank you so much for your generous donations. My students are going to enjoy the flexible seating we are going to get for our classroom. I know this will help them when doing group work and also for some of the kids that prefer a different style of seating in the classroom.”
Your generous donations helped us deliver high quality lessons even during the worst of the pandemic. With the majority of our students attending classes thru zoom, the document camera was an essential tool to teach them everyday.
We are so grateful for helping us during this difficult times. As teachers we try everyday to deliver high quality lessons to our students and during covid-19 we had to come up with new ways to deliver those lessons. Being able to show them a page from the textbook or an activity we were doing for Bellwork made a huge difference.”
My students come from different socioeconomic backgrounds and cultures, but they are all required to take two years of Spanish classes in order to graduate. My classes are very diverse: African American, Hispanic, Asian and Caucasian. Our school is located in an area of high poverty and some of my students face a lot of challenges when it comes to technology and research skills. The availability of computers and tablets is limited. Like all teenagers, my students have some difficulty making new friends and working in groups. Through these projects, they will have the opportunity to practice the Spanish language, team-building skills, interpersonal communication, and group work. These abilities will allow them to work in a multicultural society. By learning about the world around them, we "Let the world change [them] so [they] will be able to change the world"
