Community Helpers, Scholastic News Nonfiction Readers will support student learning because they will be exposed to learning things they do not have exposure to at home. Students will be able to have reading materials in the classroom because we do not have a book library in the classroom. These books will increase their reading stamina and reading comprehension skills. The book sets will be used in small groups so that students can close read books and for guided reading lessons. These books will also help learners meet their iep goals because they will have books to read that interest them.
