  • Money and Multiplying Are Essential for Financial Literacy.

    I am so excited to know that such wonderful people stepped up to help my students better understand basic mathematical skills, learn to love math, and see it as pivotal to their success in life, as you know it is. I can't thank each of you enough for your kindness and generosity. This math program will help my dyslexic and dyscalculia students learn how to multiply, which can build their capacity in all aspects of math. I cannot wait to see their faces when the supplies arrive, but more importantly, I cannot wait to see the excitement on their faces when they realize they are becoming mathematicians! Watching students learn math and understand the foundational math skills when they have given up is of great joy to me.   • A Calming Area in the Classroom

    Thank you, this calming area has allowed my special education students to de-escalate or get themselves prepared for the day. This calming area allows students to relax with books to read of different genres and at different reading levels, coloring books, a variety of fidget toys for the students to select and utilize as needed, stuffed toys to hug and snuggle, and relaxing music.

    This calming area is a welcome retreat for my students with sensory challenges and has been a great addition to my classroom.”
