  • Hurray for Headphones!

    Funded Feb 17, 2019

Thank you for your generous donation. Thanks to you my students are able to focus on their assignments with no interruptions and with the necessary tools to increase their learning. My students are using the headphones while using math apps and while viewing science videos.

My students love having their own set of working headphones. They were excited to get their own special set without having to share with others. They have been very careful and responsible with their headphones. I no longer hear the students complaining that hey can't hear anything. This has helped out class run smoother and my students are more engaged. Thanks to you no learning time is wasted due to materials that don't work. Once again, thank you for supporting our project.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Alvarez

  • On the Right Track With Classroom Basics!

    Funded Dec 26, 2018

Thank you for donating to my classroom project. My students were thrilled to receive their new white boards, dry erase markers and dry board erasers. Thanks to your generosity my students can continue to be engaged in lessons. The students love using the board to show their responses, solve problems, and to explain their thinking. The writing journals have been an amazing tool to do daily journal writing. The colored paper helped my students use their imagination in doing collages and then writing about them. My students absolutely love their book buddy bags. They love having a special place to have their books.

The materials that were donated have also helped me check for students' understanding and has made yet easier for me to work with students who need help. Once again, thank you for helping provide the materials my students need to practice and improve their learning”

  • The "Write" Tools

    Funded Jan 20, 2016

I am extremely grateful for your your kind donation. My students were thrilled with their new writing materials.

We have started to implement Writer's Workshop in our class. The requested materials are used on a daily basis during our writing time. My students write down ideas and develop writing pieces in their composition books. The markers, paper, and the table top writing center have kept our writing center organized and well stocked with the materials we need for daily writing.

My students have grown in writing and look forward to expressing themselves through their pieces. Once again, thank you for supporting my classroom.”

  • An Ipad For The Teacher

    Funded Mar 18, 2015

I would like to express my gratitude for the generous donation you have made to my professional growth. The iPad has been of tremendous help in keeping my notes organized when attending professional development meetings, and keeping my calendar and conferences up to date.

With the Mini iPad I have been able to sign up for online courses and for Summer trainings. I have been able to watch guided reading lessons online and have been able to store vital information learned from those videos.

The Mini iPad has been a new wonderful resource that has helped me have hands on experience in implementing technology, has helped me be a more organized teacher, and has helped me collaborate with other teachers during professional development meetings. It has definitely been a great new asset to my growth as an educator.”

  • Let's Prevent Bullying Through Literature & Art

    Funded Sep 25, 2012

I would like to thank you for bringing character and anti-bullying resources to my classroom. The impact that has been made on students is already evident. After the start of our anti-bullying campaign, I have noticed that students have become more comfortable in reporting bullying incidents.

By using the materials you helped provide, my students have learned a variety of strategies that has helped them identify and deal with bullying. They are also aware of feelings associated with bullying. This has made them more empathetic towards others. The materials have also helped them express their feelings about bullying in a more creative and engaging way. Once again thank you so much for your support.”
