  • Creating Memories and Improving Mental Health Through Dancing

    Funded Jun 10, 2023

Thank you for your contributions to my classroom project. The candles and candlesticks are going to make an excellent addition to the rest of our dance supplies. Each year the student council host a homecoming dance for our students. We will be using these candles and candlesticks in this project to create a magical atmosphere where our students will dance the night away and make memories that will last a last time! Our homecoming dance will take place on September 23rd this year. Thank you again for your generosity!”

  • Dancing Toward Healthy Minds

    Funded Jan 19, 2023

Words cannot express how grateful my students and I are for people like you. These items are going to help us, year after year, decorate homecoming and prom dances and the ice chest will provide a place to keep drinks cool while the kids are on the dance floor. Homecoming and Prom are the 2 biggest events in a high school students life. It is during these dances that they make memories with their friends that will last a lifetime! Thank you again from the bottom of my heart for always coming through and helping my students.”

  • Mice for Physics

    Funded Mar 25, 2021

My students and I have truly been blessed through this pandemic. We have had so many people offer to help us get the materials that my students need to be successful through out this new virtual world of teaching. These computer mice have made it easier and less frustrating for my students to navigate our online curriculum and google classroom. We are in the final stretch of the 2020 - 2021 school year and these mice are making life a little easier for all my students. Thank you for believing in these kids as much as I do!”

  • Project Graduation #4

    Funded Apr 9, 2021

We, my 2021 seniors and I, are blessed to have individuals like you that care about helping provide items that they will need in the future. Graduation is only 1 month away and I know my seniors will be excited when they receive the items you helped us get through your kind and generous donations. All these items will help make the start of their college journey a little less stressful. Through various projects, we have been blessed to receive many dorm room and apartment essentials to give to our seniors as their project graduation gift.

The doors to this chapter of their lives may be closing but we are confident that these seniors are leaving us ready to take on any challenge life may throw at them. I will miss seeing their smiling faces in the hallways of AHS but I look forward to hearing about their many successes in life as the years go by. These kids are tomorrow's future and let me tell you, the future is looking very bright!”

Thank you for your kind donations. The class of 2021 has been resilient through out the challenges that the COVID pandemic has brought forth. • Storage for Students

    Funded Nov 29, 2020

Thank you so much for the kindness you have shown my students. They are going to be happy to know they will be receiving reliable storage devices to use at home with their virtual classes. I am beyond blessed as a teacher to have these students and am grateful that I can help them navigate this virtual learning a little easier now. Many of my students are working on older technology devices that do not have sufficient memory space for the programs they may need to complete their work. The extra USB ports will help them a lot as well! Once again, from the bottom of my heart, thank you for helping me help my students.”

Technology and science go together like peanut butter and jelly. You can't have one without the other! Access to computers within our science classroom will allow my high school students to access the wide array of scientific knowledge available during research and hands-on projects. Students will also use Chromebooks to demonstrate their knowledge by being able to access our online curriculum and create presentations and documents that correlate with their Physic assignments. Lastly, various computer simulations will be used to help bring the concepts of physics to life! Having access to technology within the classroom, will help ensure my students are better prepared for life beyond high school.
