I feel fortunate to teach bright minds, children who in the long scheme of things, will only spend a short time with me. I am passionate about giving my all, to help light the fire within them to become lifelong learners. Engagement is key to helping my students learn and achieve! It's imperative that students are able to read fluently and have strong comprehension skills. Reading helps my students be successful in all of their subject areas. My classroom library needs a wider genre of books and I'd like some classroom sets so we would be able to have book groups. Also, I'm hoping to get some weekly magazine subscriptions to help engage my students in a wide variety of topics. Finally, I know my students would love some hands- materials for science!
