My ECE class is located in Teller Elementary School in the heart of central Denver serving the amazing Congress Park Community. Our school is Highly Gifted and Talented Magnet School with a focus on the Arts. My classroom has 16 4-year-old students who live in the Congress Park neighborhood and surrounding neighborhoods. We focus on the whole child and aim to provide a variety of experiences emphasizing student led learning and the power of choice. When students can follow their interests they are more likely to learn and have fun while learning., which creates students who are life-long learners. Our classroom has a variety of interest areas such as Dramatic Play, Math & Science, Writing, Art, Blocks, Library and Water and Sand Table.
