Are We On the Air?
Funded Jun 9, 2021Thank you so much for your generosity and impactful donations. These microphones are extremely appreciated and will be put to great use. Your donations have allowed our our students, the future of America, to incorporate the Next Generation Learning Standards criteria for technology awareness and implementation. As a result our students have been able to infuse and explore different mediums of technology via our class podcasts. We've been able to focus on content, articulation, the use of content specific vocabulary and
production.
Once again, We appreciate you and your willingness to help our students gain and explore skills that would usually not be available to them with out your gracious giving.”
With gratitude,

Funded May 5, 2021This speaker has made all the difference! It's has opened up doors of opportunities for students to break out of their shyness and become more expressive. It's has also allowed for students to communicate with each other during remote learning. Students in the classroom could now hear the student who were asynchronous reading and asking questions. Some of the students are even requesting the microphone when they read aloud. This is a huge step for many of my students. Many would want to run when I pulled the 🎤 out. Due to your generosity we are having major breakthroughs!!”

Funded Oct 18, 2020First and foremost my students and I would like to say, "thank you" for your generous donations. Your generosity has afforded us the opportunity to have a classroom document camera. This document camera allows me to project and magnify lessons for both synchronous and asynchronous teaching. The value is in the asynchronous teaching because it allows my students to see me teaching in real time. I can demonstrate my work and it is easier for the students to follow my thought process. Another added value that the camera brings to the classroom is that it opens up windows of opportunities for the students to display and model their thinking and work.
Once again, "Thank you" because your generosity has made a huge difference!”

Cricut + Students = Meaningful Classroom Decor
Funded Sep 3, 2020First and foremost I would like to say,"Thank you!" Your generosity has had a tremendous impact on my students and I. The Cricut has allowed my students to use technology as a "tool" to foster their creativity. The Cricut and its software has also allowed my students to work collaboratively to generate ideas and explore various possibilities to decorate the classroom. The students are currently using the Cricut to create holiday cards so that they can distribute them to their friends and family.”

Podcasting 101: Underdogs Have a Story to Tell.
Funded Aug 11, 2020Your generous donations have made a dream come true. I wish you could have seen the reactions of the students when the equipment was delivered to our classroom. The expressions on their faces were priceless. This equipment will afford the students and I the opportunities to learn how to plan, develop and execute a podcast. The Rodecaster Pro will also allow the students the opportunity to engage with technology/media in a way that is positive. As we engage in this new journey my students will be afforded the chance to comprehend the power of collaboration and teamwork. Elier Mejía said it best, "If we take this seriously we can do some really cool things." Lastly, my passion to teach is ignited by the words of KRS-ONE, "Teachers Teach and Do the World Good!"
Where would you be without your teachers?”
With gratitude,
Mr. Ramos
