  • A Makerspace for My Future Makers

    Funded Oct 17, 2016

    My students have been so engaged in the classroom Makerspace! They look forward to playing with Marble Run everyday and have been learning vital social skills though just this one activity.

    They now have a large Lego set with plenty of Lego's to build for our Lego STEAM challenges. Their current challenge is to design and build a piece to contribute to our Winter Holiday Display. Other projects they have worked on included building a shelter to hide one turkey from Thanksgiving hunters and building the tallest skyscrapers with our Keva Structures.

    These items have helped to create a Makerspace in which all of my students can engage and succeed in STEAM. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!”

I am a Special Education Teacher working with a group of 2nd through 5th graders who are creative, passionate, and eager to learn. Everyday they teach, impress and inspire me.
