  • Markers and Crayons for All

    I can't thank you enough for your generous donations to our classroom. Thanks to all of you, I was able to surprise the students with their very own supplies. The look on their faces was priceless when they realized they were able to keep the markers, crayons, dry erase markers and erasers. We used all of the supplies every day through various projects and activities. Students were able to express their creativity and really shine. Every child should have access to art supplies and you made that happen. Thank you again!”

  • Engaging STEM Activities

    Thank you so much for your generous donation. My students were so excited when they saw I had new legos for the classroom. So far we have used them for fun stem activities. I also gave them free time to explore and build, and their creative juices were flowing. You can really learn a lot about a child when you give them the freedom and time to use their imaginations. We will be incorporating these materials into our math centers and I know it will easily be one of their favorite choices to choose from. Thank you again for making our classroom more exciting.”

  • An Engaging Environment

    I wish you could've seen my student's faces when they first saw our new table and high chairs for flexible seating. It is definitely the most popular place in our room right now. Students are focused and behave even better than before because they know sitting in that area is a privilege they have to earn. My goal is for students to be excited to come to school and I definitely have seen a knew level of excitement. Thank you again for your generosity and support. It is appreciated more than you know.”

  • Flexible Seating for My Fourth Graders

    Funded Nov 16, 2018

    Thank you again for your generous contribution to my classroom. The students were so excited to learn that my project was fully funded and that we would be able to add to our flexible seating. So far we have received bands for the students chairs which makes it more comfortable to sit. It also allows fidgety students to move around without distracting themselves or others. We are currently waiting for two new floor seats to arrive which I know my students are going to love. I can't wait! Thank you for helping me improve my classroom. :)”

  • Expanding Our Flexible Seating

    Now that we have some options for flexible seating, my students are more eager to come to school to learn. The wobble stools are a favorite of theirs and we now have a total of 6! For the past few weeks I've watched them get excited to switch their traditional chairs with our new seating and they've been great with sharing and giving everyone a chance to experience them. You made this all possible so I thank you for being so kind and donating to my class. I hope you know that you helped make a difference!”

  • Flexible Seating for Student Success

    My students are loving our new flexible seating options. I wish you all could've seen their faces when I told them our project was fully funded. They are more eager to do their work because they want to sit on the wobble stools, bean bag chairs, and balance balls. I noticed they are able to focus more especially during independent reading. They are also great for group work and different stations. All of our new seating is fantastic, especially for students that have difficulties sitting still for long periods of time. Thank you again from the bottom of my heart. :)”

Flexible seating will allow my students to take charge of their learning and make the choices that work best for them. Balance balls and wobble chairs are specifically good for students that need to move a lot. Despite what some people may think, movement actually allows for alertness and attention. The bean bag chairs will help students enjoy reading. When students are comfortable, they tend to focus more which leads to greater success. With these new additions to our classroom, students can channel their physical energy in a positive way, allowing them to focus on their work and reach their full potential as learners.
