Our school is a public elementary school in upstate New York. We are extremely fortunate to have a very diverse student population and wonderful sense of community. We come from a very rural school district with a high poverty rate, and do not have a lot of the government funding that city school districts receive. Despite any hardships we may face, my hope is that the music classroom has been, and will continue to be a place for my students to be creative, inspired, and excel in ways that they never dreamed possible.
