  • Making a Mess and Cleaning It Up!

    Funded Oct 26, 2022

Thank you so much for supporting my class and students! They will be so excited to use the markers, each have a pencil box and have some paints to use! I am very grateful for your generosity and kindness! We are desperately in need of clorox wipes and are set for a good while now.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Richardson

  • Materials for Learning!

    Funded Sep 5, 2020

Thank you for contributing to our classroom! While I have not been able to use all of the materials yet, I am looking forward to, for the upcoming school year! My students have enjoyed listening to the books you helped us receive! We were able to have discussions about the topics the books covered (science, social studies and social emotional). The science books have been a great addition to the units we study: light and sound, plants and animals and patterns in the sky. Thank you so much again for supporting our classroom!”

  • Ready to Learn!

    Funded Jul 4, 2020

The diffuser and essential oils really have had a calming effect i n our classroom. I also play classical music while the diffuser is on, which helps create a soothing class environment for the students and myself.

Basic materials such as glue sticks, crayons and pencils are materials that we use frequently and are always needed. It has been so great to see my students using pencils in class and seeing their letter and number formations.

Thank you again for choosing to support our classroom, despite all of the curveballs and struggles of this school year, your support had a positive impact on us. Muchas gracias!”

  • Counting Our Money!

    Funded Mar 23, 2021

Thank you so much!!! I am so grateful to have the support of family, friends and just great people! These materials will help my students grasp math concepts and will make the lessons more engaging. I'm so happy they will have them for math instruction time! They will have so much fun counting the money!”

  • Lighten Up! Lighting That Helps Us Learn!

    Funded Aug 12, 2020

Because of your donation, we don't need to have the fluorescent lights on in the classroom. The lamps create a relaxing and calming environment in our classroom. The feeling of stepping into the classroom is more inviting and welcoming.

We do not need to have both of the overhead lights on and if we do use them, we only need one. Now that the lighting in our room creates a more soothing environment, I would like to make a new project for flexible seating in our classroom so my students have more freedom in their own space.

Thank you so much for your donations, because of you, our classroom is a better space to be!”

  • Love to Share

    Funded Feb 12, 2021

My students and I are so grateful for your support and donations! They were so excited to see treats, warm socks, and drawing materials. One student said she'd never tried the Fun Dip candy and was so excited to try it! We had done a supply drop-off previously in the year but by the end of winter, they really needed a replenishment, One student asked the next day if they were getting another bag again because they loved it so much! The favorite among all the wonderful gifts was definitely the emoji spring toy! They had so much fun with that! It really brought a smile to their face. Thank you so much! We are so grateful!”

  • STEAM is for everyone!

    Funded Aug 12, 2020

My students were so excited to see the materials! As soon as one of my students saw the rubiks cube he gasped elated and exclaimed, "Yes! I've always wanted one of those! I can't believe I have one now!" His reaction caused me to feel so grateful that my students and I have people who support our classroom.

On the learning platform my school uses (Seesaw) my students have posted drawings and things they've made with the materials.

While the decks of cards weren't available, they really enjoyed the dot to dot animal coloring books. They were great because all of them went up to 20 so they could practice counting up to 20 while also learning an interesting fact about each animal. They also were happy to have some snacks. Thank you so much!!”

  • Can You Hear Me? Yes, I Can!

    Funded Sep 21, 2020

Thank you so much for your donations! The headphones really help my students focus and listen attentively. Many of my student's homes and environments have a lot of noise, distractions and things happening around them, but with the headphones on, they are able to stay engaged with the learning. The headphones have really been useful because they are comfy on their ears and have microphones. All of my students are able to listen and participate during class thanks to your generosity, support and care.”

  • First Graders Love to Write and Draw!

    Funded Aug 20, 2020

Thank you so much for the notebooks my students have been able to use, thanks to your donation! Writing is so important right now that everything is digital and through the computer. That practice is essential and much needed! The students have a notebook for English class and a notebook for Spanish class. We have been practicing writing complete sentences in both and it has been so great for students to have primary notebooks where the lines are big enough for them to write and also have a space for a drawing. They have really enjoyed using them and we are so thankful. Gracias!”

  • Write On!

    Funded Jun 27, 2020

Thank you so much for the whiteboards my students were able to receive thanks to your generosity and support! They loved seeing that they got a whiteboard when we handed out supplies earlier in the year and were really excited about it as well as receiving the eraser with it! The lines on one side and blank side on the other make them very useful. We have used the whiteboards during distance learning for various things. The students have used them to draw/doodle, write sentences, draw pictures and draw ten frames for math! Thank you again! We will be using them a lot for future lessons in math and writing! I recently started my small groups and will use them with them as well for dictado! Muchas gracias!”
