    Dear Donors,

Thank you so much for your generous contributions toward purchasing books for my Pre-K 3 classroom! Your support has brought an incredible gift to our young learners—the joy of reading.

Because of you, our classroom library is growing with colorful, engaging books that spark imagination, build early literacy skills, and create a love for storytelling. Watching my students light up as they explore new stories and characters is truly heartwarming, and it's all possible because of your kindness.

Your donation is not just helping us fill shelves—it's helping to build a lifelong love of learning. Thank you for making such a meaningful difference in our classroom.”

  • A Swing Set for my Pre-K Students!

    Funded Apr 22, 2024

On behalf of the PreK students and our entire school community, I want to extend a heartfelt thank you for your generous contribution toward funding a new swing set for our playground. Your support will have a lasting impact on the physical, emotional, and social development of our young learners.

The addition of a swing set will provide countless opportunities for our students to engage in active play, build motor skills, and develop important social interactions with their peers. It will create a safe and enjoyable space where they can explore, take risks, and experience the joy of outdoor play. As we all know, play is vital to early childhood development, and your donation makes it possible for our students to experience the benefits of this type of play every day.

Thank you for your dedication to the well-being and growth of our students. Your generosity not only brightens their days but also helps to shape their futures. We are truly grateful for your support.”

  • It Is Time to Share What We Know!

    Funded Sep 5, 2024

Thank you so much for investing in my students and my classroom. The ability to create graphs, charts, and visuals together with my students brings learning to a whole new level. My little learners learn best through visuals!

The ideas they share and the drawings we make on the chart paper you helped donate make their learning authentic. I have heard it many times: When they see their ideas up in our classroom, they exclaim, "I said that word!"

It's truly amazing to see all their little heads turn to the graphic organizer we created when I ask a question. They know exactly where to get the answers and that's all thanks to this project!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Williams

  • Gardening Fun for My Pre-K Students!

    Funded Apr 23, 2024

Teaching Pre-K is so much fun and it sets the foundation for their educational journey! My goal in my classroom is to create lifelong memories and help mold my students to love learning! With your help I was able to attain a raised garden bed for my students! My idea is to do a gardening unit with my students in early spring. They will learn about growing seeds and maintaining a garden which is a very important concept to learn. They will learn about the lifecycle of a plant and journal about the growth and observations.”

  • Clean and Cozy Classroom Carpet!

    Funded May 4, 2024

In Pre-K, we must do everything we can to maintain a clean environment for our little learners. Our big classroom rug is used for learning, dancing, playing, and having lots of fond memories! Unfortunately, as much as we use it, it gets dirty often! With your help, we could attain a carpet cleaner and cleaning vacuum. Now I can clean the carpet often to keep it as clean and looking brand new for my students. It has made a huge difference in maintaining a clean environment for my students and not worry about the carpet being dirty.

Thank you so much for your continued support.”

  • Learning Through Play in Pre-K 3!

    Funded May 17, 2024

In pre-k 3 we learn letters, numbers, social-emotional learning, science, and math but so much of this is learned through play! Lessons must be planful, purposeful playful! Unfortunately, the budget does not always allow the fund to provide educational toys for our centers. With your help, I was able to attain 3 potato heads, Picasso Tiles, letter manipulatives, and acrylic blocks! My students LOVE playing with them in our learning centers especially the Picasso Tiles and the potato heads are a big hit!

Thank you so much for investing in my students!”

  • Creating a Calming, Beautiful Classroom

    Funded May 8, 2024

Creating an inviting and welcoming calming environment sets the stage for a great school year. My Pre-K students adorn our walls with beautiful creations and the calming colors of our decorations gave our classroom the facelift it needed. The bulleting boards look sharp and clean! The bordette and letters are beautiful pastel colors that are appealing and a great source of environmental print for the students to learn. The welcoming sign was like the cherry on top of a delicious ice cream Sunday! Thank you again for investing in my students and my classroom.”

  • Pretend and Play is the Pre-K Way!

    Funded Apr 23, 2024

Early childhood is all about learning through play but unfortunately my students did not have an outdoor area.

So much vocabulary, social skills and learning happens as they play. I wanted to create learning centers outdoors so that the learning can continue as they play outside!

With your help I was able to get a picnic table and an outdoor pretend grill for their outdoor learning center! Thank you so much for believing in my vision of getting outdoor toys for my students and for continuing to support classroom like mine!”

Every week I supply students with online learning road map. I am using various platforms like epic!, Imagine Learning, Imagine Math and even Go Noodle; however, my students love it when I record myself. I read them stories, greetings, video conferencing and every week I do a segment called Foodie Friday where I teach them food related activities that showcase the letter of the week. This week I did a lesson on guacamole for the letter G! Through my Foodie Friday lessons I teach them new vocabulary, cooking skills, encourage them to try new foods and even practice fine motor skills like spreading and dicing. The technology I use to record myself is my phone. My phone is very old and I have really been struggling due to my old technology. I spend hours editing my videos so they are just right but I know they could be better and I could do more if I had a good recording device to use.
