Children are being introduced to a new language daily. Students need a visual representation to reference along with the oral language they are hearing. Since many children are beginning readers, they are not able to read the words so the visuals will greatly support them. Additional visual representations are available but pictures are great easy references. An HP Officejet Printer will allow us to print visuals in our classroom since we do not have access to color printing at our school. The printer will allow us to provide support for the students' learning. The laminator and pouches will allow us to laminate visual representations so students can reference and revisit pictures to support their language learning. The vocabulary clues are posted along with the books, centers and throughout the classroom to help students.
