    Thank you so much for your donation! The impact these items had on our class project is without a doubt a lot to put into words. In my school district we have program, World of Work. The program has career exploration options for each grade level. One of the careers my class chose to explore this school year was of a Theme Park Engineer. They had a lot of fun planning, creating and building. Through this exploration they had the opportunity to see all the departments it takes to bring a theme park to life. But all of this fun and exploration could not have been possible without the help of donors like you. Your donation helped my students make core memories that they will take and hopefully wish to one day explore in the future.”

  • Let the Kids Play!

    In a very changing world, it was very uplifting to receive such a generous contribution to my classroom especially during a time where teachers needed it the most. The pandemic changed many lives and affected the way students went to school. Having sports equipment that many students enjoyed and continue to enjoy was more than I could ask for during the 2020 school year. My students at the time were thrilled to receive PE equipment that they could use to play new and old games. It makes me feel good to know that even though I am not longer at that site, the items from this project are still being used today by new students and teachers. It felt good, leaving them behind knowing that they would be used and enjoyed with others.”

    Thank you very much for your donation and continued contribution to mine and many classrooms. I am always appreciative when donors support literacy and as a new teacher at my school and teaching two grades (4th/5th Grade Combo) I would not be able to bring such rich and classic novels into the hands of my students if it was not for the support of donors such as you. We just wrapped up our Matilda unit and my students were thrilled everyday to read and predict was would happen next. Many of my students this was the first time they were reading Matilda and others had only watched the movie and had no idea it was a book first. Having this book available in their native language made reading this story even better. Our next novel study will be the wild robot.”

  • Multiple Ways to Learn

    Thank you for your contribution to this project. Returning to the classroom during COVID was no easy task and many resources were needed to bring the best education we could during a time where no educator knew what to do and how to do it. All we knew was that we needed to make things feel as normal as possible for our students. With the items that your donation covered I was able to get my students who spent the previous year learning online reading at grade level by the end of third grade. All the books and phonics for reading resources that I received from your donations were heavily used and easy to sanitize in an effort to keep everyone safe and continuing to learn.”
