  • Basic Essential for Success

    Funded Apr 22, 2024

We are incredibly grateful for your amazing grace and generosity. The materials provided by this project will help to stimulate our creative thinking and provide some essential resources for us all.

In our classroom, the children guide the type of teaching and learning that takes place. Being able to provide tailored teaching to our learners using different types of hands-on materials is a significant change.

We are thankful for this gift of progress.”

    With gratitude,

  • Help Me Stay Dry

    Funded Feb 17, 2024

Thank you for your generosity. My students and I are grateful for such a full heart. Being able to hand out sanitary pads to my young ladies in need is putting a calm balm on my heart.

They won’t have to offer a reason and will just have to grab from the cabinet of essentials what they need and it’s all thanks to you.”

  • Art? That's Me

    Funded Aug 25, 2023

The project provided a platform for each scholar to showcase their unique talent and shine without any constraints. Our artists were able to exhibit their super strengths and share their creations with their peers and mentors.

Upon receiving the canvas and materials, there was a surge of excitement among everyone involved in the project. The next step was to brainstorm and develop the project idea to perfection.

As the project progressed, a wide range of creations such as greeting cards, t-shirts, and paintings came to life. The journey and the learning process were more significant than the final product, and it was a proud moment for me to see the learners' growth and progress.

I am grateful for your support and guidance in making this project a success. Thank you so much for helping our learners realize their full potential.”

  • Energy Abounds After-School

    Funded Mar 15, 2023

I sincerely appreciate your generous funding for this project. My scholars and I are extremely grateful and thrilled about the opportunity it provides us. Thanks to you, they can now enjoy snacks after school and before their extracurricular activities, which helps them stay energized throughout the day.

Your contributions have opened new doors for us, allowing us to work hard and improve our skills both on and off the field. We look forward to your continued support.

Once again, thank you very much for your kind support.”

  • After School Refreshment

    Funded Feb 9, 2023

I really appreciate your kind donation. The snow cone machine arrived just in time for the heat wave at the end of the year. The snow cone celebration was the perfect treat for our students, and they were thrilled.

We used the machine for snacks after school, during school, and as an incentive to encourage students to complete their assignments and achieve their behavior goals.

Our first major event with the machine was an end-of-unit celebration where we invite students to participate. They received coupons that allowed them to choose their favorite flavor of ice cone. The combinations they came up with were amazing!

Thank you for your generous gift, which made our celebration a great success.”

  • Inquiry, a Source of Equity

    Funded Jul 4, 2023

When I announced to my learners that our project had been funded and that I was learning how to use the machines for building and making new projects, the excitement was palpable. Everyone was thrilled.

Some students worked on making signs for the hallways, while others created T-shirts or greeting cards. Every student was invested in their own creativity, and the classroom looked like a busy factory without a foreman.

In the end, we had a collection of greeting cards, T-shirts, decorations, and most importantly, a group of proud creators.”

  • Experiencing the World From My Classroom

    Funded May 10, 2023

Traveling always seemed so out of reach for my scholars and I. But you made it possible. When you funded our project with the Virtual reality headset, you set us free and gave us passports and send us out of the classroom and into the whole world to explore. Where did we not go?

Our joy was so infectious and we the other classes were definitely jealous and envious of us. We did offer to lend the VR once we had our fill. We took trips over Europe and visited the Louvre, walked on teh streets of Paris and lingered on the sides of Cafes and the Seine.

Thank you for making it possible to sit in the classroom and still be able to see the world.”

  • After School Refil

    Funded Feb 15, 2023

Thank you with a heart full of gratitude and an abundance of virtual hugs. My students are over the moon and super excited. We are grateful that you are partnering with our classroom and our community of learners.

We are grateful for your generous heart.

The cotton candy machine as well as the chocolate are a huge favorite of my scholars helping to quench our mid-day hunger and keep us alert and learning all day long. Food matter and often we seem not to think about it's importance but in our day at school, it is playing a big role. It helps give us the energy to keep moving and learning.”

  • Fuel Up and Ready to Learn

    Funded Aug 16, 2023

We are incredibly grateful for the impact you are making in our learning community. The changes you have brought about have made a significant difference in the lives of our students. Now, the children can attend classes at any given time, and even when I'm not around to teach them, they can still have access to food. This is truly amazing.

As an adult and an educator, I know my students quite well, and I can easily tell when one needs a little boost. With the provision of snacks, I am able to quietly walk up to them and offer some support. This act is often followed by a quiet "thank you" and an energy boost that translates to better learning outcomes.

Thanks to you, my students are more prepared and empowered to learn. Your contributions are invaluable, and we are forever grateful.”

  • Level Up With the Pro

    Funded May 9, 2023

Thank you so much for simply being fantastic. The device has enough space that all the softwares are stored on one device and we can explore at our leisure and truly take control of our learning.

I am grateful for your unending generosity. To be able to teach, interact with young minds using the latest technology is a game changer for me as an instructor.

This device is allowming me to learn to use Cameo, BrothercutScan , Canva, Adobe, Book Creator, and Cricut to design and embedded art into teaching. Learning all these skills and tools will allow me to transfer to my scholars and help them express themselves using art and design.”

I am having the most amazing time of my life in the classroom teaching and learning. Yes, most of my students have no interest in taking a second language as they are still struggling with their first language. Yes, most of my students come from a background that didn't prepare them for a traditional classroom where the teacher teach and the students learn. But what they lack in academic readiness, they make up for in attitude. It is my mission to build that attitude into grit and move my students from a proficiency level to another one. In between the 2 proficiency levels, our class is exploring using financial literacy, SEL, jumping, laughter. We are building, creating, researching, speaking, listening, reading, writing and growing. We can only develop into a better version of who we are today by the time we finish our journey and we owe it all to you our donors.
