Help Protect the Kindles!
Funded Jul 27, 2019I can't thank you enough for your support of my classroom through your donation to our project. Your support provided my classroom with cases and headphones for our new tablets! My students and I are beyond appreciative!
Technology is a crucial part of our society, something that most people use every day. I want to prepare my students by using technology to support learning in our classroom. We will use the tablets mainly during our independent center time. During this time student's work on their own in small groups or with the teacher. It is an amazing time because students are able to get instruction that is tailored to their specific academic needs. When a student is not working with a teacher these tablets will help them continue to grow their brains independently. By providing us with headphones, cases, and a charging station for our tablets we will be able to use them with ease in the classroom. With 6 new tablets in our room the headphones will help each scholar work without being distracted by noises from the other kids working on tablets. The cases will ensure that the tablets will be used and loved by many classes to come. The charging station will help me ensure that the tablets are charged and ready to go each day!
Again, I thank you for your support! You have made a huge difference in our classroom family!”
With gratitude,

Funded Jul 27, 2019WOW! I cannot thank you enough for your support of this project! We now have a plethora of books in our classroom library with characters that represent my diverse classroom population!
Teaching reading is my favorite part of teaching 1st grade! Watching scholars develop a passion for reading and finding texts that excite and interest them is one of the most rewarding aspects of teaching. My classroom library is put to good use each and every day. Scholars are able to check out books to take home with them and enjoy with their families, as many students do not have access to quality texts at home. We also use the library throughout the day! Scholars are able to spend some quiet time reading during our independent center time. It is during this time I encourage scholars to explore different types of books to find what interests them. I love hearing about the different books they choose to read and hearing about why they love them. The addition of the books from this project has only furthered my students love of reading. They have been the most popular library selections as we begin our school year!
I thank you again from the bottom of my heart! Your support means the world to my scholars and I!”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Griffin
