Help! Our youth are lost in the world with no sense of direction! I teach 7th grade English, Social Studies, Current Events and Speech & Debate classes in a wonderfully diverse community. My students come to my classroom from homes and lives that often are focused on the most immediate of human needs. They are rarely afforded an opportunity to explore the world outside of our city limits. I try to use my time with them to expose them to what lies beyond our local community.
