My students come from all walks of life, which means they don't always have the essentials that they need. I want to create a classroom environment where that is not a worry to any of my students. If my classroom has all the materials that they will need, then none of them has to worry about which of their peers has and does not have the materials. I know I am asking for class sets of a lot of materials, but this is to provide an environment where none of my students ever have to worry about what they can and cannot afford. I am guaranteeing that any material that they will need in my class will be provided for them.
