I teach at a school where education for all students is valued and teachers hold their students in high regard. We set the bar high and we hold our students to be their best. My classroom is self contained; my students require intense academic instructional skills and functional academics to help foster success in their day to day lives. I adore my students and by working with them and their families and in close partnership with the teachers in my school, we are prompting growth for all of our students.
The students in my school have embraced my students. They love to help my students and I have worked very closely with their teachers to help foster caring and productive relationships. Students who struggle with reading feel comfortable with my students and enjoy practicing their reading skills with my crew. The social skills my students gain from the partnership is invaluable.
