  • Books at Our Reach !

    Funded Sep 23, 2024

My students and I would like to thank you for your donation. We have created 2 quiet areas in the classroom. Students go and grab a "good book."

We have our library area and had to create a "quiet area." I'm so excited to add this area for my students. They know that it's time to chill and wind down. They have learned how to relax and calm down with a book. Making it much quiet in the classroom.

We had to make a take home library to share books with families at home too. The students love so much to read. They want to share books with family too. I LOVE IT!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Robles

  • Learning from Home

    Funded May 6, 2020

    My students and families

Want to thank you all for your generous donation. Due to your support We were very fortunate to have been able to receive these well needed materials.

When the schools closed back in 2020 due to the Covid pandemic many of our families and teachers felt helpless. We needed access to materials that students could use at home. Fortunately you were all there to make this happen for them and continue the learning from home!

It was a success and all families were satisfied with the support given. Most of my students were able to overcome an obstacle they were encountering during that difficult time. Thank you!”

  • Chinese Lanterns For Us!

    Funded Nov 27, 2023

Thank you for letting us have the opportunity to be a part of this amazing project!

My student enjoyed making their lanterns and learning about the Chinese new year! They were excited to go home to share with their families everything they learned.

We took some pictures with the banner too!

We read the book in class and I placed it in their library for them to be able to read it on their quiet time. The students were excited about the animals and what they represented. So we had to talk about that for a few days. Which was fun for all of us. They were asking everyone that walked into the classroom what they were? It was fun learning more about the Chinese culture for all of us! Thank you Panda Express for letting us have this opportunity!”

Thank you so much for your donation. My student now are able to get a good nap and rest their bodies well. They wake up full of energy ready to continue their day. They are not tired but ready to learn more than ever because of the support and donation(s) we received!

The students are always in tune with the daily schedule. They are always asking when is their nap time( believe it or not). Before we had the floor mats. And I'm sure they were not as comfy as the cots are. We are all happy and expect them to last a long time for other future students. The cots are durable!! Thank you !

  • Yummy Veggies !

    Funded Jun 27, 2022

Our new resources are being used in the dramatic play area. The students are classifying the veggies and fruits in the baskets that correspond the items. They play as they are chiefs or their own family members at home.

When I introduced the materials to the students they were very excited and eager to use them right away! I had to introduce them and go over on how to use them. So we had a whole group introduction. They were all very attentive to the materials.

We made a lesson in our small group. The lesson was about healthy foods. I brought healthy veggies too! We asked children what was their favorite veggie they liked from all the ones they has today. We also had them cut their own with plastic child proof materials.

They named the veggies, color and we learned where they come from and how they grow as well. This helped my students develop lots of language !”

  • “We’re Independent !”

    Funded Oct 19, 2023

Our organizing cubbies have been very successful in class. Thank you to all that donated and made this possible.

The students are able to find their own cubby with their name labeled on it. They have learned how to place their belongings before school and get them after school.

They come in the mornings and have learned the routine. They even place their work and art papers after completing them. Making all this much easier for them not to loose or misplace anything. This made they become independent in the classroom!! And of course it helped the teacher(s) too!

This is a must in every preschool school classroom!

Thank you again for all you do! We couldn't have done this without your support!”

My students will learn healthy and nutritional values. Materials like kitchen furniture (stove, refrigerator, sink, and microwave) will help increase and encourage children's social-emotional and language development. This will be something essential that my classroom will utilize on an everyday basis. Many children in my program experience my classroom as their first time outside their own home. For children who are considered disadvantaged because of their family’s low-income status, this will be a great learning experience to be able to pretend using these materials in class. I will encourage self-eating habits and help them refine fine motor skills. Children will have the opportunity to dress-up, pretend cooking, eating, and cleaning up the kitchen in the dramatic play area. This will increase their awareness of nutritional and healthy eating. They will also learn to help others at home in the kitchen which will assist them in their social-emotional and language development skills.
