  • Some Wit & Wisdom

    Funded Dec 20, 2024

Thank you so much for finding a TPT gift card for our 4th grade teachers. We started the new Wit & Wisdom curriculum and can truly use some support from TPT creators. This will go a long way in providing materials for us to help teach our students and challenge them.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Maselli

  • Beautiful Classroom Reset

    Funded Aug 14, 2024

I am thrilled that you chose my project to fund! I am so excited to redecorate my classroom for the incoming class! I am believer that kids will learn better in a comfortable environment, and we are on our way to having that. I’m so excited for these new materials to arrive. You’ve made 20 kids happier on the 1st day of school!”

  • Magic Carpet Ride

    Funded Dec 31, 2019

This note comes extremely late by a number of years, for which I apologize. I hadn't realized that it was missing. My 2nd grade students truly loved the rug that had to be replaced due to being quite dirty. We received it not long before the covid lockdown. It has been loved and lasted us for 2 additional years. Since we received the rug, I have changed schools and grade level within my district. I was able to give that rug to another teacher in need in my building since I wasn't able to transport it. My sincere thanks and apologies for not acknowledging you at the appropriate time.”

  • Hear Ye Hear Ye

    Funded Jan 20, 2024

I can't tell you how much I appreciated your support in purchasing student headphones. Every year we seem to fall short on headphones due to headphones being broken or misplaced.

The students have been able to have regular access to their chromebooks when they either don't have their own headphones or forget them at home. I have a place in the back of the room where I hang the headphones on hooks. The students are responsible for using them and puting the away every evening.

Thanks again for choosing my classroom to support.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Maselli

  • Classroom Basics

    Funded Sep 20, 2023

I appreciate all the classroom basics that you helped to purchase. The rug was key to creating my new reading corner with the new Ikea bookcases. I finally have enough pencils since my students go through so many every dayl.

After I received the carpet, I immediately set up my reading corner. When the kids came in the next day, they were really surprised and couldn't wait to sit on it during their reading time.

Next, is to create a schedule to for kids to have access to reading on the carpet. Thank you so much for choosing my classroom to support.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Maselli

  • Charge Me!

    Funded Sep 20, 2023

I really appreciated your generous donations to support our classroom. My students use chromebooks throughout the day and require quick and easy charging. The cables that we received were crucial in helping the students be responsible for keeping their chromebooks charged and ready to use.

The kids were excited to have new charging stations as well as having the cables to charge their chromebooks. No more dead chromebooks for them! This has enabled them to keep up with assignments, research projects, and daily apps.

Thanks to you, school life is just a little bit easier.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Maselli

  • Let's Expo-dite-it!

    Funded Dec 12, 2023

Thank you so much for funding my project for personal white boards and dry erase markers for my students to use for math instruction. We use these every single day. It's so much better have smooth whiteboards over the scratched up ones we had. Now the students can easily write on them and I can see their work clearly. When working in math, it's really important for the students to be able to demonstrate their work not only to me but to each other. These materials allow them to do just that. They are really r cited to have new dry erase boards. We appreciate you!”

  • Handle the Math

    Funded May 9, 2023

The math games that we received were a huge hit! I had a group of students in charge of checking each game, learning how to play it, and turnkeying it to the next group of students. They really enjoyed being able to teach each other how to play each game and it was a great way to introduce the games to get the kids excited to play. Often, I let the early math finishers use these games to continue their math growth and it truly worked! Many students also gravitated to these games for an indoor recess choice. Hurray for math games!”

  • Classroom Closed Supplies Needed

    Funded Sep 15, 2018

While this note is coming years later with many apologies, we appreciated all the classroom supplies that were donated to start off a new classroom after our school was closed. I moved to another school in my district and started with a pretty empty classroom that had a few super old and unusable items. All of the items in my project help project my classroom into the present and allowed students to have many of the basic essentials that are needed to learn day to day. For this, we will be forever thankful.”

  • A Hunt for the Treasure Chest

    Funded Mar 8, 2023

My students absolutely L O V E all the prizes that we now have in our prize box. There is a great variety such as click-its, nail polish, make your own book mark, stress balls, and more.

They have been organized and labeled with a "price" so that students can easily find what they are most interested in purchasing with their earned Talon Tokens. They truly look forward to Talon Token Fridays and are eager to count up all their earnings.

It's so important to have a classroom store so that students can understand the concept of earning, spending, and saving.

Thank you for your continued support.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Maselli

My 4th graders are quite a group that attend a K-8, urban, elementary school. While our building is quite outdated and teachers struggle to create classroom libraries, my kids are still very motivated to read and learn. Donors have funded several projects over the last year and it has made a HUGE difference in the kids being able to learn and enjoying it! The kids and I appreciate any donation, no matter the size. Every little bit brings us closer to having a better learning environment.
