• Ink! Ink! So We Can Think!

  Thank you so much for your generous donation that made this project come to life. When students are able to print out their work, they are empowered with a sense of confidence in their education. It is so nice to hear students say "look what I made" with a look of joy and pride in their eyes. Being able to print out diagrams, graphs and graphic organizers have been a huge difference in how students are learning as well. They are grasping concepts faster and retaining the information. It is amazing how just printing things out makes learning so much better for certain students.

  Thank you so much for your generous donation! As we live in new ways with the pandemic, keeping our students safe is always the top priority. Students have been able to keep their work areas safe and clean by sanitizing often. I have been able to give students wipes to use before eating and sanitize their tables for the next group of students to come in. We have learned that the pandemic cannot stop us, and will continue to learn powerfully as long as we can keep everyone safe. With the sanitizing supplies our classroom is safe for students to build and learn each day.

• Learning Financial Literacy in STEM

  Thank you so much for your generous donation that allowed us to learn about financial literacy in our STEAM class. So often students question how what we are learning is relatable and relevant to their lives. Teaching them about finances, taxes and interests has been so much fun. Students are incredibly engaged and come to class excited to see the progression of their learning.

  The games provide a fun way for kids to calculate math quickly and think about next steps. You can definitely see an improvement in their mental math, but also their understanding about the world of finance that they will soon encounter as they are becoming young adults.

• Birthday Celebration For All

  Thank you so much for allowing me to provide students with a birthday bracelet, and small trinket as a gift for their birthday. This small gesture makes each child feel special on their birthday and that little bit of joy can really make a difference in their day.

  Every time I get to personally shout out a student in my class to come up for a birthday bracelet, I feel incredibly happy because I am giving this child some well deserved attention. When they choose their animal eraser, they feel so special and get so excited. This is all possible because of your generous donations. Thank you!”

• Super Science And STEM-tastic Fun

  Thank you so much for your generous donations that has allowed us to make amazing pins to advocate for climate resiliency change and supplies to make paper circuits. Students were amazed that they could create a button, and have it ready in less than one minute to show off their designs. In our human impact unit, students created alternative energy source models and created pins to represent their point of view. With the copper tape and coin cell batteries, we were able to extend our circuits unit by creating closed and open circuits with the materials. It was a great visual for students to see science in action.

During remote learning it was a challenge to differentiate with students online, and even now, there is a huge gap in learning that needs to be filled. Being able to provide my students with different resources for differentiation has been crucial.
