  • Help to Power Up Our Esports & STEM Future

    Funded Mar 15, 2024

Thank you so much for contributing to my classroom's project for provide more technology for the students to use to complete in more esport competitions. Our students were working on a Minecraft competition and the app was not working on their ipads so having this laptop really helped them to be able to work on it when we were not able to go to the computer lab here on campus.

Students are always eager to demonstrate their knowledge in various formats and using technology and games to help them do this and learn is always a memorable and fun way for the students to learn.

We truly appreciate your kindness and generosity.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Inglish

  • Learning About & Spreading Compassion & Kindness

    Funded May 27, 2024

Thank you so much for donating to our learning about and spreading compassion and kindness project! The students are already growing so much from all of the valuable resources that your donation purchased for our classroom.

The beautiful kindness posters that were purchased are on our classroom doors to remind the students as they come into class about all of the various ways that they can show kindness to others. I also have posters near the sink in our classroom of quotes from various famous people to help inspire students as well. Students also have access to the resources that were purchased with your donation to create cards and show kindness to others.

Thank you again for your kindness!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Inglish

  • Students Love Hands-On Activities and They Will Love Pocket Labs!

    Funded Nov 8, 2023

I want to express my sincerest gratitude for your incredibly generous donation to our classroom through Donors Choose. Thanks to your support, we were able to purchase the Pocket Lab sensor cars, which truly enhance our hands-on activities and engage our students in exciting scientific experiments.

Your dedication to our students' education is truly inspiring, and we are grateful for your commitment to their success. Your donation has made a positive impact on their learning experience.

Once again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for your contribution. Your support means the world to us.”

  • Headphones Needed!

    Funded Aug 10, 2022

Thank you so much for providing headphones to our classroom for our students to use. These headphones allow students to watch and listen to Science simulations and videos at their own pace without distracting other students.

Not all students are able to listen to information and learn from it after hearing it one time and so having the option to listen to the information individually allows them the freedom to re-watch online simulations and/or rewind videos as much as they need to without feeling that they need to be like everyone else in how many times they might need to hear or see the information.

The students are so grateful to have comfortable and reliable headphones to borrow as many of them forget to bring their own or have earbuds that break very easily. We truly appreciate you and your kindness!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Inglish

  • MacBook Air for Distance Learning!

    Funded Feb 19, 2021

Thank you again for your generous contribution and support to our school! Thanks to you my students and I were able to have a Macbook with the M1 chip that dramatically improved the video quality of our distance learning experience.

Prior to purchasing the Macbook with the M1 chip, I was using my own personal Macbook that did not have the M1 chip so it was not as fast and it was also starting to have issues due to lack of storage space, etc.

My students and I truly appreciate your support and it means a great deal to us that our community helps to support our school.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Inglish

  • Our School Needs More Chromebooks Now More Than Ever!

    Funded Jan 24, 2021

Thank you so much for your generosity, kindness and support, especially at this challenging time. So many of our school's Chromebooks have been loaned out and as we try to plan for in-person instruction, having more Chromebooks to use for this purpose and in our classroom is needed now more than ever before.

Your support means so much to my students and I. Having Chromebooks for the students to use allows them to learn and practice their technology skills. Thank you again for helping our school and community.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Inglish

  • More Chromebooks Needed

    Funded May 5, 2020

Thank you so much for donating to Donors Choose to buy more Chromebooks for our classroom. Since many of the Chromebooks at our school that used to fill our rotating chrome carts have been loaned out for distance learning, your donation to help us buy more Chromebooks to have in our classroom will help so much when we return to in-person instruction.

The students need to use Chromebooks on a daily basis however we usually have to reserve a chrome cart in order to have enough Chromebooks for each student to have their own. My ultimate goal is to have enough Chromebooks in my classroom on a regular basis so that we will not have to rely on a chrome cart anymore.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Inglish

  • More Chromebooks Please!

    Funded Mar 15, 2019

Thank you so much for your donation to our classroom to buy Chromebooks. Students ask to use Chromebooks daily in the classroom and while we usually have a cart about once a week, having more Chromebooks that we can have in our classroom at all times, really helps the students to have the access that they need.

Most current jobs and those of the future will require students to be savvy with technology, therefore providing them the opportunity to utilize technology is very important. Additionally, students enjoy creating and completing assignments online as their Google Drives automatically save their assignments and this option is also more environmentally friendly.

Thank you again for your tremendous support of our classroom.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Inglish

  • Students Need Access to Technology to Research, Discover & Explore!

    Funded Jan 3, 2019

The students are so excited to have more chromebooks in our classroom to use on a daily basis. Students truly enjoy being able to check their grades online and complete assignments utilizing technology so the more Chromebooks we have in the classroom every day, the more often the students have the opportunity to do this.

We are usually able to get a Chromecart for the classroom about once a week, however on the other days when we are not, the students usually have to share chromebooks with partners or in groups which can be challenging for students, especially if they need to work on separate documents or perform their individual research.

Thank you so much for helping my students.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Inglish

  • More Chromebooks Needed for Daily Use!

    Funded Mar 27, 2018

Thank you so much for your contribution to our school. Our students need as much experience as possible with using technology effectively. Students enjoy having more chromebooks in the classroom on a daily basis so that they can use technology as needed instead of having to wait until we are able to get a chrome cart for our classroom according to the scheduling calendar. Using a chromebook is especially helpful for students who may benefit from online interactive Websites and videos to help them to better understand the concepts that we are learning.

Thank you again for your support.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Inglish

My students really enjoy learning Science when they have materials to do hands-on investigations about the concepts that we are learning. Unfortunately, our school does not have an ongoing budget that includes the cost of materials to perform alot of the labs that we would like to do.
