Daily language use in the ESL classroom that incorporates all four domains of language: listening, speaking, reading and writing is critical. Additionally, it is important to differentiate for students and provide the appropriate scaffolds to support their language learning. The use of iPads in conjunction with the Rosetta Stone software for learning English will augment what students are currently learning in the classroom and will provide them additional language support and immediate feedback as students practice their language skills with the use of technology. It is amazing to see how students demonstrate increased focus, attention, and engagement as they are learning through technology. The program provides immediate feedback, as well as practice with listening and speaking as students are provided with multiple opportunities to review vocabulary and comprehension.
