I have several different projects in this cart. My 6th graders are going to create their own projects by looking at the art standards and figuring out what they want to explore and what they need to learn along the way. This will help them to become better problem solvers and better critical thinkers. Most of their projects require pencils and paint, which we are currently in need of.
K-5 students love to build and create, and the straws and connectors really help them create astounding creations. It also helps us learn how to reuse objects and cuts down on paper use in the art room. Glue is very important to my young elementary students who are learning how to use scissors. What do you do after you cut the paper? How can they create landscapes? Learning how to layer using glue is an important part of art and life. They need glue sticks, beads, and buttons. We don’t just stop at one point; we learn how to add to it.
