Thank you so much for your generous donations... we appreciate you more than you know! Now we can concentrate on learning instead of being hungry. Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart!! I cannot wait to come back from break and tell my students that snacks are on the way... they will be thrilled :):) You have made 35 students so very happy and we appreciate your generosity very much! Happy holidays to everyone!”

  • Let's Hear it for a Successful Year!

    Funded Nov 30, 2022

My students in both sections that I teach used these headphones daily to work on tech based programs we use in the classroom. They were so happy to have new headphones that actually worked, where they could listen to the directions, play games, and compete against each other!

It made me so happy to see the students really engaging with the programs in a way that they were not able to before receiving these headphones!

This third grade class were the students who were remote during Covid so they missed so much in-school learning. Now they can listen to stories on their laptops during free time!”

Thank you again from myself and my awesome third grade students!”

  • I'm So Hungry!

    Funded Oct 2, 2022

"I truly don't know how to begin to express my gratitude for the donations to our classroom. Our students eat snacks 2 times a day. All of our students have healthy appetites. These snack items help diminish significant triggers that can interfere with the learning environment. We have relied on donations from parents and me providing snacks and it is simply not enough. This donation helped our classroom sail through the the year with ease and helped us remain focused on our academic progress."

My student's really enjoyed and appreciated all of the great snacks that were funded by your donations! The snacks provided a chance to take a break and fill their bellies up:) We are forever grateful for your generosity!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Keller

  • So Yummy!

    Funded Feb 28, 2022

My students loved the snacks your donations funded! The M&Ms, Gummie Bears, Pringles, Rice Krispie Treats, and Cheeze-Its were awesome! My students still talk about how great it was that complete strangers gave them snacks to eat at school:) Their bellies were full so they could concentrate on learning. Your donation was so important to us because many of my students come from low-income households where snacks are not often to be had. You were responsible for the smiles you saw in the pictures. Thank you again from the bottom of my heart:)”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Keller

  • Successful Learning at Home!

    Funded Dec 1, 2020

My students were thrilled when I delivered the supplies that you so graciously funded. My kids' lives are such that they don't often get 'something for nothing'. When I told them that people simply care about their success, so they donated money so they could have rulers and flashcards and markers and crayons...they were beyond excited. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I wish I could show you not only my students' faces but their parents'. Every time they use the supplies they will think about your generosity!”

  • Learning Can Be Fun at Home!

    Funded May 14, 2020

Each day I would look outside and it was like Christmas!! Boxes, boxes, and more boxes were delivered to my house! I could not wait to deliver these supplies to my friends (my students:)) These pictures don't even begin to show the excitement of receiving these awesome supplies for school. 18 children now have pencils, markers, crayons, glue sticks, construction paper and so much more to use at home! 18 lives are better, 18 children now know that people really do care about them.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for believing in my students,”

  • Learning Can Be Fun!

    Funded Dec 3, 2019

Thank you so much for helping to fund my project. My students were so thrilled to hear the news when the email arrived. I can't wait to see their faces when they see we are also getting an Osmo! I only told them about the retractable cords and the magnetic letters. Wonderful people like you certainly make the world a better place.”

  • MAGNETIC MATHEMATICIANS!

    Funded Feb 14, 2019

My students and I were so thrilled when our magnetic whiteboard and math manipulatives arrived! We could not wait to unpack them and put them to use! Every single day we use them to add and subtract. My students love to show what they know:)

We have been working on 3-digit addition and subtraction with regrouping, so having manipulatives is so important for them to be able to 'see' what they are doing in a concrete way. They love to be chosen to come up in front of their classmates to show how they got their answer!

Thank you again from the bottom of my heart for believing in my students and showing them that people do care:):)”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Keller

My students are 3rd graders in a high poverty, inner city primary school. 100% of students receive free breakfast and lunch. We give students coats to keep warm, pencils to do their homework with, and backpacks to carry their schoolwork home in. 99% of the time my students come to school happy, smiling, and eager to learn. They are kind, caring, and curious, and always ready to lend a helping hand to one another. The other 1% of the time though I hear stories about gunshots in the night, homelessness, death, and sadly abuse. I comfort, console, counsel, cheer, and most importantly listen without judging. In 8 short years they have already endured a lifetime of heartache. Despite all of this they constantly want to learn. They ask many questions and soak up the answers like sponges. They understand at an early age that education is a way out for them. Our district asks the students to make a promise to dream big!
