  • Classroom Organization Pockets

    Funded May 21, 2024

Thank you so much for supporting our classroom. Thanks to your generosity our 2nd graders are starting the year off with brand new seat sacks to help organize their materials. There is room for folders, notebooks, pencils, crayons, headphone and computer badges!

These seat sacks will allow our students to be more independent as they can easily access all of their materials in one place. They also will learn organization and accountability for their belongings.

We are so thankful to you all and appreciate helping us kick off the 24-25 school year fresh and new!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Smith

  • Headphones Help Us Concentrate

    Funded Aug 2, 2023

Thank you so much for your generous donations. With your help our students have been able to stay focused during their independent work time.

Our new headphones have kept distractions to a minimum and our classroom is a quiet place where our students have been able to focus on their learning. Currently our class has completed the most reading levels thanks to the students ability to have a calm learning environment.

Our students enjoyed picking their favorite color headphone and pairing it with a matching badge lanyard. They have learned how to take care of their belongings because they like what they have chosen for themselves.

Thank you so much for supporting our classroom!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Smith

  • Connecting Reading to the Real World!

    Funded Aug 2, 2023

These headphones have helped us so much already this school year. Each student loved being able to select their favorite color headphones! They loved pairing their headphones with a matching lanyard for their technology log in information.

We use these headphones everyday! Sometimes twice a day! It has truly helped our classroom become a quiet, peaceful working space. The web pages we use in our classroom to support student learning are very fun, engaging, and interactive- unfortunately they are also very LOUD! However with these headphones our students are able to concentrate and focus on their own work because they aren't distracted by someone's noises or sounds coming from technology.

With it being much more quiet during independent work time we, as teachers, now are better able to help students who may need a little extra support.

We are so appreciative of your donation and support to our classroom!”

My scholars, as we call our students, are a high energy group of 5, 6 and 7-year-old First Graders. My students love to come to school everyday to learn and have fun. Many of them have hard home lives and school is really a refuge for them; a place they can feel safe and loved. To them, school is a place that is consistent and meaningful and where they will be pushed to do their best, no matter their circumstances. We truly believe that ALL of our scholars have the capabilities to not only attend but also to graduate from college.
