My experience has shown me that my Biology 2 students are very interested in plants! They have so many questions when we start the unit and come up with many more as we work through this unit. Because some of my students are struggling readers, finding engaging texts can be difficult. I feel certain that this book will engage them in the reading process. Reading with a book in hand is quickly becoming a lost art. Technology is great but the distractions it causes can make reading even more difficult for the struggling reader. Having a book in hand will help students focus on reading while allowing meaningful collaboration with classmates.
