We've Got The SPIRIT, So Let's Hear It!
Funded Jan 21, 2019Your generous donation has made a tremendous impact on our school community . We officially have our very own school spirit squad . Students on the squad have been using the materials to perform at the school's student of the month assemblies. We are currently working on putting a routine together for Multicultural Night. Our students along with these materials are contributing to uniting students and staff as one . We are so grateful for all of your help and support . It wouldn't have been possible without you. We plan on keeping this a school tradition and will be using the materials again each and every school year.”

This classroom project was brought to life by DICK'S Sporting Goods Foundation - Sports Matter and 16 other donors.Sensory-Overload In A Good Way !
Funded Sep 1, 2017The sensory tools we were able to receive thanks to your generosity have greatly impacted our students! The various fidgets are kept in our classroom's break area aka "Chill Zone". Students are able to grab a fidget of their choice while in the break area . They can also use them during our lessons when needed to stay focused! The kids especially got a kick out of our new flexible seating (wobble chair).
Our students also LOVE the floor cushions and can't wait to get their hands on them during group work! Last but not least, the noise reduction headphones are a huge help and ACTUALLY work. Students can quickly grab a pair from the basket when the noise level becomes too much for them. My co-teacher and I are so appreciative of all the donations received! We look forward to researching more materials that could be beneficial within our NEST classroom!”

Ms. Luino
