Materials for Hands-On Learning
Funded Nov 4, 2022Our students were so excited to receive their supplies from Donors Choose!
We use our erasers everyday for whiteboard review in math. The wires and batteries supplied us with three different activities: making electromagnets, creating a DC motor, and circuits. We will use the Play Dough in science and the juggling balls for an organized physical activity challenge.
All of our supplies were shipped quickly and in wonderful condition! We appreciate all of those who donated to our classroom this year.”

This classroom project was brought to life by Panda Cares and 4 other donors.Voice Matters!
Funded Apr 23, 2019Our students are so appreciative of the donations we received from our latest project, "Voice matters!". They are using their Toobaloos as much as possible for reading and we are already seeing an improvement in motivation and effort when reading long and short passages. They are fun and students love to use them. This has helped up prepare for our end of the year tests and other activities we do throughout our daily lessons. Our speakers and microphones have helped us all lower our voices when speaking to the whole class because now we are amplified!”
With gratitude,
Ms. Luckett
Creating, Designing, and Engineering
Funded Apr 16, 2018With your donation, our students have been able to use the various choices of supplies for their STEM projects. We have everything we need at our fingertips to make our projects work or work better! Students can now further their designs and work on design engineering projects with these much-needed supplies. We have hot glue sticks, styrofoam, cardboard cutting tools, figurines, batteries, and more. Our 5th graders are getting ready for a STEM exhibition night at Belle Heth and we will be prepared to begin our projects this year.”

Learning Through Technology In The Classroom
Funded Apr 15, 2015Our students want to thank you for providing us the extra technology in our classroom. With our seven Chrome Books, we are able to have students work with the use of the Internet every single day!
We have several different programs in our curriculum that require the use of the Web, which include Reading, Math, Science, and Social Studies. Our students need and use Reading programs on Istation.com, Math on IXL.com and XtraMath.com, and Science and Social Studies on solpass.org. We are also able to use other apps such as SnagIt for Green Screen videos and TypeScout for typing, Planetarium for exploring the stars and planets, DuoLingo for learning languages, and much, much more! The uses are endless because we have the internet.
Thanks again for making our classroom a better learning place. We appreciate you.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Luckett
