Generation Genius for Little Geniuses
Funded Nov 12, 2024Generation Genius has helped my students get an introduction to math and science concepts when we begin a new unit. My students loved learning about push and pull and just recently they are learning about subtraction. The videos are so wonderfully done to introduce vocabulary and concept. The students look forward to lessons by asking if they will be watching, "3, 2, wonder!" It is a motto/saying from the videos. The students also have a great time dancing to the song in the video we watch. It is wonderful to check for their understanding of the concept after the video because they get a great grasp of the lesson in just watching the video. It is a wonderful way to start a new unit of study! Thank you for helping us to use this resource for a year!”

Secret Stories Resources for Little Learners
Funded Dec 2, 2024Thank you for allowing us access to the Secret Stories products. I have been able to use high frequency word slides to practice with my students on a daily basis. We call them heart words in the class. The students are also creating their own heart word notebook so they can learn the words and so they have a resource when they need to write. The Secret Stories stickers/images have helped to make this so easy. I hope to have the students also using the word mapping slides to build words as well. The students have increased their learning with this resource and we couldn't have done it without you. We greatly appreciate your support!”

Odds and Ends
Funded Dec 4, 2024The students loved our Social-Emotional Lesson on A Little Spot of Emotion! The students loved going over all the emotions and now we have the little stuffed emotions to reference when we need to. It has helped the students to identify emotions that they are having and also see in others. The boo boo ice packs have helped when a student gets a small boo boo in the classroom or at recess. It helps them feel better. The play sand was a special gift that Santa gave to the students when he visited the week before Winter Break. The Smencil pencils is an added item to our Splash Store and the students have the option to buy them with their Splash points for being kind, respectful, and responsible. All of these items help our little community run more smoothly. Thank you for helping us!”

Funded Nov 12, 2024Our tradition of decorating stockings was a success. The students decorated their stockings with the stickers, the students brought in items to stuff the stockings with. The mini coloring books were the first stocking stuffers. The students were so proud to create their parent gift. The ornaments came out so lovely. The bead candy canes were so adorable.
The excitement at our party was wonderful. We decorated sugar cookies with frosting and sprinkles. We then handed out the stockings and the students faces lit up! Thank you for making that happen!”

Learning the Basics in Reading and Math
Funded Oct 17, 2024ESGI is software that allows me to quickly and easily assess students to monitor their progress and growth. The software has allowed me to dedicate more time to learning rather than assessments. It allows me to clearly track and communicate goals/progress with students. It allows simple parent/teacher communication regarding students' progress in English and Spanish. My students enjoy testing with and seeing their growth instantly. They love that they get flash cards they can use with their parents. They are always eager to get retested.”

Funded May 6, 2024The students love the new button review that we just introduced to the class! The kids come in and push the button and hear me say, "T, /t/, tomato." They then repeat and touch the visuals as they recite the letter name, letter sound, and the name of the picture. I'm excited to add the beginning sound review and hopefully a math one to another part of our room after our Thanksgiving break.
This will be helpful to all my students so they can review but it will also help the students who are still finding it difficult to remember the letter names and sounds. Thank you for allow us to have access to these resources!”
