These materials will allow my students to create and document wonderful projects in our classroom. I want my students to evaluate and showcase their work by recording it both with videos and pictures and then using that evidence to create movies that demonstrate what they have learned. This activity will build communication skills as well as help students dig deeper and analyze what they are learning about. I also want my students to have access to the Lego Story Visualizer app. It is a wonderful way for students to take pictures of their work, each other, or characters built from legos to create a comic strip that tells a story. Last year I was able to us iPods to have students create wonderful science podcasts. I have to share the 3 iPods that I have access to with other teachers at my school, which is not the most convenient situation. Having these 5 iPads would make it a much more convenient project. When created and used appropriately all of these activities are helpful in integrating important writing, speaking, listening, and communicating skills into science, social studies, and math!
