• We Love to Build Part 2

  Thank you so much for donating to my latest Donors Choose project, " We Love to Build part 2 ". My students were so excited to open the boxes as they arrived on different days. They cheered when they saw our new STEM building materials.

  My students were so eager to use the new Legos, magnetic shape building blocks, as well as the building gears. They have created so many creative " buildings" and are exploring with all the new materials. They love working in teams to teach each other all the creations they can make with our new materials.

• We love to build!!!

  Thank you so much to Big O Tires for fully funding my latest project, We Love to Build.

  My students were so excited to get more Magna tiles blocks today. They were finally able to have enough of the blocks to get to build all together in a small group. There were no tears about not having enough Magna tiles to build during our STEAM centers. All the students were able to work together to build amazing buildings and towers.

  The students are getting so creative about different ways to use the Magna tiles!!!”

• We Love Art!

  Thank you so much to everyone who helped fund my classroom art project. We received new crayons which we use to color daily. We use them during our daily journal drawings. We also use them daily at our free choice art table.

  We also received Art mosaic magnetic kits. The students are to create amazing mosaic art projects with these kits. The students also practice their colors as they complete the picture. The students love creating these beautiful images.

• Math Is Fun!

  Thank you so much to everyone who donated to my latest Donor's Choose project, Math is Fun. We use these materials daily in my classroom. My students, especially my second language learners, are learning so many vocabulary words with the Language Lotto game. The love counting ice cream scoops in the Ice cream scoop game and can practice their counting and patterning skills. Their favorite new math learning game is the Frog and Monkey balance scales. The students love to use the monkeys and frogs to count. They are now starting to use them to practice their addition skills, too.

• We Love Math Part 3

  Thank you so much to everyone who helped fund my latest Donor's Choose project, Math is Fun part 3. My students use the materials purchased daily in our math center.

  My students love using the magnetic shape materials to practice sorting different shapes. They love using the wooden puzzle counting games to practice their counting skills. Their favorite new math game is the balance board Monkey and Frog games. The students love using the scale to count and match the monkeys and frogs. Thank you again for donating to my classroom.”

  My students love using the new math materials at my daily math center. They love sorting and counting the bugs in the new Scoop a bug game.

  They also love making patterns and counting using the nuts and bolts counting center.

• We Love Art!

  Thank you so much for donating to my project, We Love Art!. My students love using the art materials at our daily art table in our Transitional Kindergarten classroom.

  We use the dot paint to quickly make amazing dot pictures. We will use the paint-to-paint self-portraits this month. We are excited to use the tissue paper in our upcoming Fall leaf project. My students are so happy to have so many different art supplies available to them at our art center. They can truly let their inner artists come out.”

• Counting Is Fun!

  Thank you to everyone who helped fund my project, Counting is Fun! My students loved using the muffin tins to count the muffins. They were so excited to be able to throw number and color dice and the try to "catch" the muffins with the special fine motor spoon. These Muffin counting games are so great for my students to practice their counting and their fine motor skills at the same time.

  They also loved the "Froggy' game, as they call it. The students love "feeding" their frogs based on the dice throw of number and color. Once again, these games are perfect for the students to practice counting, colors and also their fine motor skills.”

• We Love Sand!

  Thank you so much for donating to my project, We Love Sand!

  My students were so excited to use the sand trays for the first-time last week.

  First, we practiced writing our names in the sand. Then we practiced writing our shapes and numbers. The students are asking to use our sand trays every day. It is such a fun way to practice our fine motor skills. Thank you again to everyone who helped fund my project. My students love the sand trays and I love that they actually want to practice their writing skills.”

• We Love Kindergarten!

  Thank you so much for the donation to my project, We Love Kindergarten! This new school year my students are currently using the Alphabet tubs to learn letter names and letter sounds. The students are so excited when we get out our Letter Tub for the day.

  They also love to do our new daily calendar. They love when it is their turn to do their calendar job. My students are learning various math skills with the Calendar. We practice counting, days of the week, months of the year as well as estimation skills daily with this calendar.”
