The last six years of the Foundations For Learning program have been the most rewarding years of my life. My students have grown so much academically as well as socially and have had such an amazing impact on their typical peers. They are an amazing bunch of third, fourth, and fifth grade students with varying abilities and HUGE hearts!! They work so hard at everything they do. I have always dreamed of teaching children what they really need to survive in the world and this program has given me the ability to do so. Teaching life skills and seeing my students apply them in everyday life has made all the hard work worth it. My students never let anything stand in their way and are ready to tackle anything I put in front of them!
