  • "... Keep Walking Along and Singing Your Song"

    Funded Aug 16, 2023

We were able to being the school year with many items that enhanced our learning environment . The "Educational Insights Pete the Cat Calming Light Filters" the "Hanging Japanese Paper Lanterns..." and the "Pete The Cat Better Than Paper Bulletin Board Roll" helped to create a very aesthetically pleasing atmosphere. We just recently changed from the "Fall" themed lanterns to the "Winter Wonderland Snowflakes Garland Bunting Tissue Paper Fan Lantern". The students were so excited about the snowflakes. The "Lakeshore Tabletop Supply Caddies" and the "Lakeshore Magnetic Storage Boxes" have a positive impact on sharing and organization. The "Paw Prints Floor Decals" have made an impact on our ability to get into line and stay in their space. And finally, my students' most favorite donations are the popcorn, fruit snacks and pudding. We will celebrating the start of our Winter Break" with these in just a couple of days.

My students and I want to express our gratitude for your generous contributions that made it possible for our classroom project to be fully funded. My students were excited from the moments I opened the boxes. They couldn't wait to use the new caddies, admire the new decorations and enjoy the yummy snacks!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Kroner

  • Dramatic Play - Creating Problem Solvers

    Funded Sep 20, 2022

We began our study of "Clothes" upon our return from Winter Break. The Grandmas Dress-Up Trunk, the Grandpas Dress-Up Trunk and the Dress-Up Tree go perfectly with this study. They have been a part of our Dramatic Play Area for the past few weeks. The Feels Real Newborn Dolls, Clothes for 14" Baby Dolls, Baby Doll Blankets/Bottles and the Soft Washable Doll Bassinet are great additions to this area as well.

My students and I want to express our gratitude for your generous contributions that made it able for our classroom project to be fully funded. My students were excited from the moments I opened the boxes. They were very eager for me to change the materials in the Dramatic Play Area. They couldn't wait to get dressed-up pretend to be mommies and daddies to the new babies.

During the course of our study of Clothes, we will complete 7 different investigations. They will cover the following questions: What are the features of clothes? How do we take care of clothes? How do people make clothes? How is cloth made? Where do we get our clothes? What special clothes do people wear for work? What other special clothes do people wear?”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Kroner
