Indoor Recess Rescue!
Funded Sep 28, 2021Thank you so much for the generous donations to make this Indoor recess project a reality for our whole school! The Indiana weather is very unpredictable so you never know when you might run into a cold, rainy, or snowy stretch and the kids are stuck inside for multiple days. These new recess items that were picked out by the students will definitely help with that. Twister has been a big hit with the 4th and 5th kids, 2nd and 3rd graders have enjoyed Tic Tac Toe, and the younger kindergarten and 1st grade kiddos love the building blocks and sticks.
We were happy to get items that were age appropriate for each of the various grade levels. It is also nice to add a few items each year so there is a nice variety of things for those long stretches when the temperature drops in the winter especially!”

Funded Oct 4, 2021Thank you so much for coming together and making this headphone project a reality. We use these daily with our students. They are used in our Computer Lab which will now have a complete set. One for each computer when it is used during our our daily intervention time and with our technology classes taught one-two times a month to each classroom. Some sets are always being used to finish supplying one set for each student in the classroom to use with their Chromebook!
The kids love these headphones and they are truly the best brand for young kids! They are durable and easy on their ears! Thank you for making a difference in our school! 😊”

Help Keep Us Active and Engaged in the Classroom!
Funded Sep 25, 2021Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity towards our project! The kids were so excited when I opened the boxes! They absolutely love the new Hopscotch Rug!! They use it multiple times a day to get the wiggles out and it also helps them work on coordination!
The Bean Bag Toss has so many different uses and so far we have been matching up shapes! It has kept their little bodies learning while moving! So far the Dot Art has been a big hit for them to use! They have made some adorable pictures with them.
I was so excited to get some new activities to keep our center time engaging and keep them active in the classroom! I am so appreciative of your support and making this project a reality for us! The kids are having so much fun with our new learning tools! Thank you! 💗”

Scissors for Safety in Kindergarten
Funded Jul 20, 2021Thank you so much for your kindness and support towards our classroom set of scissors! These are just perfect! My kindergarten students love the soft grip that these have and the bright colors as well! Cutting is so tricky for many of my young students but these scissors have them excited about trying it!
It has been so nice to have a full functioning set again! Last year due to Covid restrictions we only had a few left and they were getting old. They were just a bunch of random inherited scissors from years past. These new ones are all the same type, so there is no more arguing about who gets which ones. 😊”

Funded Aug 4, 2021Wow! It has been amazing to be able to get several activities on Teachers Pay Teachers to start off our school year! There are so many wonderful learning tools on the site and it has been nice to not have to worry about how much I am spending out of pocket!
So far, I have found Pattern Block activities, letter cards, Center activities, and Morning Work for my young students and the year is just getting started and I still have funds left! Everything has been a huge hit with the kids and they have seemed very excited for our new activities.

Financial Literacy Through Dramatic Play

Funded Jun 29, 2021Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity towards this project! It is my 2nd year in a row doing this project and is by far my favorite! The little leveled readers are perfect for my young students. I love being able to provide books at their level so they have great choices to read at home! They are good practice and the kids have levels A-D, so the books grow with them throughout the year! I have already had so many parents thank me and tell me how much the kids love the little books!
Then the Reading Totes are used every single day for my kids reading groups. Little stories and word cards go home with them and they practice them and return them the next day. They are very durable and last all year long! 📚

Funded Jun 16, 2021Thank you so much for coming together and helping this project fund quickly! These folders are working perfect as our Daily Folder going home each evening and coming back each morning! They help my young students be able to take important information home and for families to be able to send important notes back each day safely! The kids are very responsible with them.
I cannot say enough good things about the Ticaderonga pencils! They truly are quality and they last forever. We have been in school for 3 weeks and they are still going strong. No one had to have a replacement yet. It is also so nice to be able to provide these for the kids and they all have the same pencils! Plus, my pencils sharpeners have not gotten clogged with the yucky paper/plastic junk from other brand pencils.

Supplies for Success in Kindergarten!
Funded Jul 17, 2021Thank you so much for you support towards our classroom supplies project! The kids love the new whiteboards and dry erase markers. The dry erase markers tend to run dry, so we truly need a back up supply to make us through the year and this should help us with that. They use them at the Writing Center each day and during math time as well. They are very handy to have around and the boards are so much better than our old ones that were on their last leg.
The slider baggies are the best for my little kindergarten friends. They are so much easier to use then to try to snap together the other original style. We use them for our kindergarten high frequency word cards, alphabet letter cards, and even to store our old paper stories as we read them together. They keep them in their cubby and can read them at Reading Center.

Funded Apr 7, 2021Thank you so much for your generosity towards our project! It is amazing to have our very own laminator and paper cutter in our room! It has made getting things ready a breeze this year! The bright colored paper has also been nice to be able to use for many things including alphabet letter cards, rocket math practice sheets, and centers!
If I forget to cut things or we decide to do something go differently I can grab my paper cutter and be ready to go without leaving the room. The kids love anything with bright colors, so they are loving all the card stock acivitities I have been able to make for us and then I can laminate it all, so we will be using it for many rises to come!
