Kindergartners Keep Learning at Home!
Funded May 5, 2020A huge thank you to all of you for making this project a reality! I was able to deliver the backpacks filled with books, coloring books, crayons, paint, play-doh, wiki-sticks, Bubbles, and flashcards! The kids were so excited! Their little faces just lit up when they saw me with all the goodies! Their families were very appreciative and I have gotten numerous messages already that the kids have already gotten into their bags and started on some of the activities and were so excited about everything!
I am excited as well, that I was able to get some great learning materials into their homes, so the kids can keep learning and be creative even though we are not in our classroom right now! Thank you for your kindness and support with this project! 💗”

Funded May 5, 2020It was such a wonderful and busy day making all my deliveries today! The kids absolutely LOVED their Build-A-Bears that I delivered today! I wish you could have seen their little faces light up when they saw them! As an added surprise I put in a sound that says, " I love you!" The kids were thrilled and promised me they would read lots of good books to their new Reading Buddies! I just know they are all going to get so much comfort and cuddles out of these animals to help boost their spirits in this trying time! I hate that our year was cut short, but am so happy I was able to see my kids and give them a special gift to make things a little easier! They now always have someone that they can read stories too as well! 💗”

Funded Apr 25, 2020Thank you so much for your generous donations and kindness to help us get these amazing little leveled readers in our classroom! Kindergarten kiddos are just very basic readers and these leveled readers give them lots of book choices that are very basic making them able for the kids to read them, even at the lowest levels. They give the kids confidence and a sense of accomplishment when many books are too difficult.
These leveled readers will be used for many years to come! The kids love to grab a tub at their level and read them when they are at my Reading Center! I am also hoping to incorporate them in our Reading Bags next school year, so they can take them home and share them with their families and bring them back and swap out!
All kids will benefit from this project because of all the various levels that I now have! Thank you for making a huge difference in my classroom! 💗”

Funded Feb 27, 2020This is one of all time favorite projects! These drawstring backpacks that are filled with flash cards, a kindergarten skill book, and a brand new story will be given to our new kindergarten students who are enrolled within the next few weeks when it is safe and we are allowed to by the Health Department to hand them out. Due to COVID19, our original plan had to be modified, but we will get these bags into the hands of our new students regardless.
The bags have been stuffed and filled with activities to keep our brand new students active and engaged over the summer and hopefully they will come into kindergarten a little more prepared and ready to learn! I know the families have seemed very excited and grateful for these resources and have shared they are a looking forward to using them!

Funded Mar 24, 2020Thank you all so much for your kindness and generosity towards my classroom. My sweet kiddos LOVE picking books at their very own reading level and it really builds up their confidence when they find that they can read the books in their tub. They get so excited to pick a book and read it to a friend or Grandma Susan who helps out in our classroom during center time. These books will be used for many years to come and have really boosted our classroom collection!
My plans for next school year will be for the kids to even be able to take home an extra book or 2 each evening in their Reading Bags and be able to read it with their families. They will be so excited to share those at home and I hope it will just continue to boost their confidence in reading. Especially my students who struggle with reading. These leveled books really make a difference in their learning.

Funded Mar 13, 2020Oh my goodness! What a blessing all the new activities have been in our classroom! My students will be using these math, letter, and number activities for many years to come in my kindergarten classroom! The Magnetic Letter Tiles are awesome! The students will love to build their kindergarten words and new words with these cool magnets. The build a word game and activity box have been great activities as well for small groups at Center time. The kids really enjoyed them both. They love to find the numbers in our rice table. That will really help with number recognition, especially next school year with my new kindergarten kiddos!!
Plus, great storage containers for our books and our new math and letter activities has helped organize our classroom! Thank you so very much for your kindness and generosity! I appreciate you all! 💗”

Sphero Mini Robots Part 2
Funded Jan 28, 2020My kiddos absolutely LOVE the mini Sphero Bots! We have only used them a few times so far and both times were complete success. The students got along and had fun learning, even taking turns without any tears or fights!
I appreciate your help in bringing coding and technology into my kindergarten classroom! I am so excited for
my students to begin to gain the basic coding skills. We are lucky to have such a great opportunity, thanks to all of our wonderful donors! With the addition of these 3 robots it is the perfect number to keep all my kids learning and engaged!

Funded Feb 28, 2020Oh my goodness, my students are having so much fun learning and exploring with our new items for our Happy Home. They love taking orders for the Coffee Machine and making and serving waffles! It is so cute to hear them interacting with each other and role playing. The Pizza Shop and Deli Sandwich Counter are very popular and the kids are getting lots of practice taking orders, making the items, delivering to their customers, charging each other with our pretend money, and even making change.
Even though my students are just in kindergarten they are learning some great life skills to help them in real world experineces with jobs, money, and taking orders. Thank you so much for helping to make a differnce in my classroom! I truly appreciate your generosity and kindness towards my students and my classroom. :)”

Funded Jan 28, 2020Oh my goodness, my students were so excited when the boxes arrived!! They could not hardly wait for me to get everything opened and organized to add to our LEGO STEM center! They were so thrilled when it was finally ready and they could create with the new sets!
They absolutely adore the little mini-figures and manipulating them around and creating little skits and using them to do their community jobs! It is adorable the little stories and scenarios that they come up with while being creative! The LEGO Creative set has also been a huge hit using the little cards to try and create the LEGO piece. They really do a great job creating and building with them! I have been super impressed!

Light Up Kindergarten to Make Learning Fun!
Funded Dec 17, 2019Oh my goodness! My students were so excited to see the Light up activities. They could not wait to get busy working with them! They are really enjoying all the new activities. Light up things make everything more fun, at least according to my kindergarten kiddos!
I absolutely love the Light Peg Boards that the students have been able to spell words and make letters of different sizes at our Literacy Centers! They have had a lot of fun learning with the boards! They get so excited to show me the word or letters they are practicing.
The new math activities are amazing. The kids really like the measurement activities. They are really having fun with that one! The number and counting and pattern block activities are very cute as well! I love that the kids are learning and really are too busy having fun to even know it! Thank you so much for your help in getting these awesome resources in our classroom! 💗”
